Isabelle's POV:
Amber decided to come with me to the pool today. Billy was already on his shift and I decided to wear a one piece bathing suit to hide the bruise Billy left. And I had to put tons of makeup on to hide the hickeys he left. "Hopper said he's going to catch me up on everything. He's been busy with Joyce but I'll be going with him tomorrow." I nodded and Billy saw that I was here. He walked over and said "didn't think I'd see you here." I smirked and said "I wanted to see you." "I think you should come to mine later. We could uh, do what we did in the backseat of my car." Billy whispered the last part and I said "I think we should." Billy opened a piece of gum and put it in his mouth. "I could teach you the breaststroke, at the motel six." Billy said. "Yeah? Maybe I need it." I replied. Amber looked between the two of us and said "I feel like the two of you are going to be the couple who can't stop having sex." Billy looked at her and laughed. "You're right about that." He said. Amber rolled her eyes at Billy. He picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder. I giggled as he carried me around, I could feel the glares of all the mother's of Hawkins. Billy set me down next to his tower. He leaned in to kiss me and I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I love you." He said. "I love you too." I replied. Scoffs were heard and I said "you're upsetting your fan club." Billy looked over at the mothers and said "they'll have to get over it." I removed myself from him and walked back over to Amber. "So you're just going to catch up with Hopper?" I said. "Yeah. Plus he didn't want to work with his deputies cause he says they're idiots." She said as she stepped into the pool. I did the same and said "you've been doing better? Since everything that happened in Russia?" Amber sighed and said "yeah. I've been ok. I miss him a lot but I'll get over it. There's not many guys here in Hawkins that are my type. Especially Steve Harrington." I chuckled at her and said "he's not ugly." "He's the type of guy that's full of himself. Not my type at all." I watched Billy talk to Mrs. Wheeler. I could feel the the crush she had on him and Billy, being her flirt he is, made it worse. She walked away from him and she nodded to me as she walked past. "She's totally jealous of you." Amber said. I sniggered and said "she shouldn't be. She has a husband and kids." Heather sat with the other lifeguards and I felt her eyes on me. She waved to me and I waved back. "You're friends with Heather?" Amber asked. I shook my head and said "no. But she saw Billy and I together at the mall." Amber nodded and Billy motioned for me to come where he sat. I walked over to the lifeguard tower and he said "come up here." "Would what your boss think of that?" I said. Billy pulled me up onto his lap. I turned to look at him and said "everyone's looking." "Yeah, so? I want everyone to know that you're mine." He replied as he kissed the back of my neck. I turned around and faced the pool. Amber smirked at me and shook her head. I adjusted myself so I was comfortable, a soft grunt came from Billy as I did so. "I didn't hurt you did I?" I said. "No. But if you do that again I'm gonna get hard." He said. "Noted." I leaned against his chest and my head was on his shoulder. "So, the motel 6 tonight?" "Yeah." I replied. Billy grabbed my hand, kissing the palm. I noticed a kid running around the pool and he kept splashing the other kids. Billy noticed as soon as I did. "Stay here." He said. He got up from the tower and blew his whistle, the entire pool looking at him. "What did I tell you about running?" The kid stared at Billy and said "if I have to tell you again, I'm going to have to ban you for life. You wanna be banned for life, fatass?" I covered my mouth to keep from laughing. This kid was scared shitless of Billy. He shook his head and Billy said "don't make me tell you again." The kid began to tiptoe around the pool and all the kids began to play again. Billy came back to the tower, setting me back on his lap. Him and I sat up there for the rest of the day. Amber ended up going with Hopper instead of sticking around. "You'll give me a ride home? And I'll meet you at the hotel later?" I said. Billy nodded and said "yeah." As the pool began to close, Billy shooed the rest of the kids out while carrying me on his shoulder. I hit his back with my fists while laughing. "Put me down!" I said. "Get out! We're closed!" Billy said, the kids running for the exit. Billy's hand was on my leg, holding me. I felt his other hand come up and slap my butt. "Billy!" I squealed. He laughed and finally set me down. "I gotta get my stuff. Stay here." He said. Billy walked into the lifeguard office and I stood by the pool. The sun was setting and the outside lights came on. I grabbed my stuff and the lights began to flicker. A growling sound was heard and I stood frozen, my back to the pool. Then all of a sudden the lights stopped flickering and the growling stopped. Billy grabbed my shoulder and I gasped. "You ok?" He said. I nodded and said "you scared me." Billy hugged me, kissing the top of my head. "I'm sorry. Now let's get you home. So we can have some fun at the motel." I smiled up at him and the drive home was comforting. Billy's hand rested on my thigh, his fingers tracing circles on the inside every once in a while. "Meet me at 9:30." He said. I nodded, giving him a kiss. Billy kissed me passionately, something he had never done. I pulled away and said "that was a really nice kiss." Billy looked down at his lap. He was blushing and if I brought attention to it, Billy would be so mad. "I'll see you tonight." I said. He looked back up at me and said "I know I say this all the time and it's probably sappy but I love you." My heart fluttered and I said "it's not sappy at all. I love you too." Billy smirked and I turned on my heel, going up to my house to eat dinner and meet Billy later on.
