Isabelle's POV:
Billy set El down gently. "It'll be over soon." He said to her. She was weak. She could barely move. She looked over at me. "Isabelle." El reached for me and I did the same. Billy drug me over to where she laid and he straddled me, knees on either side of my torso. "Now you'll be flayed. Now we can be together. Me and you." Billy said, his finger stroking my cheek. I shook my head and said "no." He cupped my cheek and then pulled me up to his level. I gasped and he held me by my shirt. "She's first. Then you." He said. "Billy, you need to stop this. You can stop this." I said to him.

It's always around me, all this noise, but
Not really as loud as the voice saying
Let it happen, let it happen (it's gonna feel good)

I used my powers against him, making him feel sadness, heartbreak. Billy groaned and then he took his other hand and wrapped it around my throat. I shook my head and said "Billy, please." He began to squeeze but I still used my powers. Billy held back his tears and squeezed tighter. The Mind Flayer stood over El who was crying. Then a firework went off, hitting the Mind Flayer. Billy gasped in pain, letting go of me. I was now laying back on the ground and I looked up to see the group throwing fireworks. Billy groaned in pain as each firework hit the Mind Flayer. But eventually Billy got tired of it. He grabbed El instead of me. He hovered over her and she said "no!" She hit his chest over and over again. Once I regained enough strength. I yelled his name. He looked over at me while El cried under him. I used my powers so immensely that I couldn't feel anyone else in the room. It was me and him. Him and I. No one else. "Do you remember when you came to my house? You and your dad got in a fight. He hit you. I helped you. We spent the night together. You slept in my bed. I made you dinner. We went to Starcourt the next day. You hated my outfit I bought cause it was so colorful. Then a few days later, you told me you loved me. I saw your mom. I saw that she left you. But she made you so happy." I said. "She was pretty. Really pretty." El said as she cried.

Billy looked down at her and then looked back at me. Billy stood up, moving away from El. "Isabelle?" He asked. I nodded and said "Billy. It's me. You told me that you were unlovable. That's not true. Because I love you to the moon and back. I'd do anything for you, Billy." Billy cried and I cupped his cheek.

"You promised you'd show me the sea. We were going to go to California, Billy. Come back to me." Billy cried even harder and his whole body shook with sobs. I wanted to hug him so bad but the Mind Flayer would see. "Come back to me." I whispered. Billy reached for my hands and I took his hands in mine. He kissed the top of my head and then turned his back to me, facing the Mind Flayer. It knew. It knew it no longer had Billy. He snapped out of it. The Mind Flayer went for El and Billy stopped the arm. "No!" He said. Then another arm went for me and he caught that one as well. Billy held the arms back, not letting them come near me or El. I pulled El away from the creature and she stared up at Billy who was protecting her.

I watched one of the arms stab Billy in the side. I felt the pain and I watched him try to stand up straight. Another one got him in the other side and then he was being lifted off the ground. I went to go towards him and El held me back. I watched the next arm stab him in the chest. "Billy!" Max screamed. I dropped to my knees as he fell to the ground. Then the Mind Flayer began dying. I'm assuming the gate was closed. A black disgusting thing flew out of Billy's mouth. I watched it slowly began to disintegrate with the Mind Flayer. Billy gasped for air once it disappeared and I stared at Billy on the ground. I crawled over slowly and Max walked over. She knelt down and said "Billy, get up. You gotta get up." Billy choked on his own blood and he said "I'm sorry." Max shook her head and said "Billy please get up. Please."

Tears blurred my vision and I said "don't leave me. Please." Billy looked at me and said "I love you." I cried and said "don't!" Max shook him, trying to keep him awake. "Billy please." He struggled to stay alive. I could feel his life force slowly draining. The group all watched as Billy said his goodbyes. "I love you, mad Max." Max's eyes widened and she said "please don't."

I stared at the gaping wound on his chest. I wasn't sure if my powers would work. El looked at me and I closed my eyes. Billy's choking began to fade and that was the worst thing I've ever heard. Then it stopped. "Billy!" Max cried. I shook my head as tears fell from my eyes. Max collapsed into El's arms and cried into her chest. "No!" I screamed. I laid my head on Billy's shoulder and wished he would come back. Steve pulled me off of Billy and I clung to him as I cried. "Shh." Steve tried to calm me down. "I couldn't save him. I couldn't do it, Steve." I said. Steve's eyes watered and he said "Isabelle." "I couldn't do it!" I said. Steve was crying now and he said "I know." Robin sniffled. The military busted into the mall along with paramedics and all other kinds of people. They told us we had to leave the mall. I looked down at Billy as they pushed us out. None of us said a word. I turned my back on Billy, Steve holding me up because I was so distraught. And what happened next was music to my ears. A gasp.

Oooof did y'all cry? Who am I kidding nobody cried cause that sucked!! I did tho cause I had to write it.
