Isabelle's POV:
El was going to find Billy, to see what happened to him. I already knew but El needed to see for herself. She was going to take me with her, so she wouldn't be alone. The two of us put on blindfolds and there he was. Sitting on his bed. El led the way as the two of us stood in front of him. "Billy?" I said, my voice echoing. He was staring past us, not even looking. El said "I want to see what happened." He didn't answer. El grabbed his hand, holding it in hers. "Billy, let us see." She whispered.

I cupped his cheek and said "Billy. Let us help you. Let me help you." That's when Billy looked up, a tear going down his face. I shuddered as I felt the real Billy on the inside. "Billy." I saw the black marks on his body from being flayed. I wanted to hug him but was afraid of what he'd do. Last time I saw him he almost choked me to death.

Billy pushed me down onto the ground. I gasped as he grabbed El's wrist. "No! No!" El said as she tried to pull away from him. He let her go and she began falling back in slow motion. Bits and pieces of Billy's memories flashed before us and I began to cry as we witnessed them. El and I landed in salt water on a beach. She looked at me and I looked at her. "The sea." I said. "The sea? Like a beach?" Will asked. "Yes. A beach." El replied.

I saw a young boy run down the beach with an older woman who was surprisingly very beautiful. "The wave was seven feet, mom!" The boy said. El and I stood up and when the woman said Billy's name. I began to tear up. "It's Billy." My voice echoed. "It's a memory. That's California." Max said. I watched as Billy's father got more and more violent, causing his mother to leave him. As Billy grew up, he had so much anger, so much discontent that he took it out on everyone. "This is your sister, Maxine." A young Max held her hand out for Billy to shake and he stared down at her with disgust. He shook her hand and Max smiled up at him. Billy didn't return it. El and I continued to walk until we got to a building. Billy's car sat in front of it and I said "I've been here before. I saw what happened to him. When I accessed his memories." "Where is it?" Mike's voice asked. "Brimborn Steelworks." El said. I heard Jonathan flipping the pages in the phone book, trying to find it. "Get out of there!" Mike said. El and I took off the blindfolds and no one was in the room. El began to get nervous and she said "Mike! Mike!" I looked around and no one was to be seen. "He can't hear you." A deep voice said. El gasped and I turned around to be met with Billy. He stepped into the room and said "you shouldn't of looked for me. Because now I see you. We all see you." El's eyes filled up with tears and I backed away from Billy.

"You let us in. And now, you are going to have to let us stay." El and I continued to back away from Billy as his voice got deeper and louder, more menacing. "Don't you see? All this time we've been building it. We've been building it for you." I knew he was talking about El. I had no history with the Mind Flayer. El did. She closed the gate on him the year before.

"All that work, all that pain, all of it for you. And now it's time. Time to end it. And we are going to end you. And when you are gone, we're going to end your friends. And then we are going to end, everyone." "No! No!" El said as she cried. I sniffled and then Billy looked at me. "As for you, you'll die with her friends. Billy is gone. He's just a vessel, a host. So I can do what was meant to be done. End everything and everyone." I shook my head and said "no." "You know it's true. Give up on him. He's never coming back." I sobbed and El looked up at me, watching as my heart broke.

Billy went to grab El and she used her powers. "Get away!" Then we were back in the real world. I gasped and El screamed. "No!" Mike immediately held her and tears streamed down my face. Will and Max hugged me. I cried into Max's chest and I felt Will holding me tightly. "No." I cried.

My nose was bleeding and once the two of us calmed down. El and I were able to relay what just happened. "Billy said he built the army for El. His main priority is taking her down. Then me." I said. "W-why you?" Max stuttered. I sniffled and looked down as I began to cry again. "Because I'm the only one who can snap Billy out the trance he's in. I'm the only thing he loves enough to break him free." "He said he'd kill all of you." El said flatly. Max scoffed and said "that's nice." Will put his arm around me and said "we won't let him. You'll be the one to break him. You'll use your powers and break him." I cried and said "I just want him back." The group frowned and I could feel mixed feelings from Nancy and Jonathan. There was only one thing to do now, stop Billy, and The Mind Flayer.

Here's the update! When I saw that scene for the first time it shocked me to the core! Dacre and Millie's acting😫 they were both so amazing in that scene!!!
