~Garagain's POV~

"So they found the king ha?" I sighed softly, sitting back against the large throne at my back.

There was a general murmuring around the people of the court. My tail flicked in annoyance. This hadn't been a plan of mine. I thought he had certainly been dead. Obviously that attack hadn't been as damaging as I had thought.

"That stupid human was supposed to be dead!" I growled when none of them replied.

"Please forgive us your darkness. We meant no offence. The dosage was enough to kill a human twice his size," Said an incubus.

"I don't need excuses!" I started, clenching my fist, dark flames bursting forth from over them

The crowd flinched, taking a step back. I instead opened my furred paw again and let the fire disappear. Yes, it was an annoying circumstance... but it didn't really change anything. It shouldn't change anything. My plan is still on schedule, and now that the kingdom of Teleran is out of my way... well there really is no one else that can possibly stand up to me.

Well, there are those two dragons of the prophecy. The cute couple. But I've taken care of that already. All I need to do is bide my time. I closed my eyes, that rage slowly subsiding. I opened my eyes and looked at the nervous beings in front of me.

"I want you to find them," I said slowly, my words echoing through the room, "Use the magical weapons we have scoured from the castle, and when you do find them... well... don't come back until they are dead. Or don't come back at all."

"Sire, the fates have figured out where the dragon couple is." Suddenly said a small new voice.

I looked down at the imp and tilted my head, "Oh? Where?"

"They're heading back to that small town Lysia. Apparently they're stopping there on their way to the forgotten kingdom."

I frowned. This was news. The kingdom that I had destroyed all those years ago. I thought it had disappeared from history all together. But then again... the blue dragon is the reincarnation of that bratty princess, that may have something to do with it. I wouldn't be surprised if the red one was something of a reincarnation as well.

"And do you know where they learned this information?"

"My guess? The soul of the princess told him."

"How!? Unless....of course. That sneaky brat!! She used the safeguard amulets!"

"Safeguard amulets... sir?"

I growled, "They keep you alive, but if you're released your body won't be yours. You'll just be a voice in their head."

Then an idea popped into my head. Which made me smirk and laugh maniacally. "How ironic. The transformed boy can give birth now! Hahahahaha!"

"What is your plan of action Lord Darkness?"

"Never mind," I waved my hand, "Now, leave my presence. All of you."

The crowd instantly scattered, trying to leave the room in the quickest but most orderly way they could. I watched them go with a smile on my maw. It was always entertaining to watch them dance in fear. It really warmed my heart. At least they knew their place, unlike the rest of the creatures on this worthless world, soon to be mine.

Once they had gone a large presence made itself known near my throne. Slowly a large black dragon walked forward from the shadows, and gently leaned around and nuzzle me. A deep rumble left my throat as I gently kissed the dragon's snout.

"Gabriel," I said as I stroked the dragon's maw, "You know what to do."

The dragon chuckled darkly, "Anything for you."

He opened his wings and with a roar pushed himself into the air, disappearing through a hole in the roof, winging his way into the night sky.
