Warning to everyone who is going to read this: YOU WILL CRY!!!! I did... :'(

Anyway, this is not the end. There is still another chapter. Don't leave off here! ;)

The party was a blast!!! It was the best thing that I would ever experience, next to my birthday. Leo, Jason, Piper, Annabeth and I had a dancing competition. We all did pretty good, but I won anyway. I didn't really care. I was having fun will my favorite people in the universe! Leo, about halfway through the party, went down the stairs of the Argo II and came back up with a cooler. THE cooler!! He reached inside and pulled out root beer, sprite, pepsi, coke, and every other kid of soda you can imagine. He also brought out Lays classic chips, Cheez-its (yes!), Doritos, Cheetos, and every other kind of chip that has ever existed. The music made me want to cry. Some of it was funny, like Leo, while others were serious, like something Annabeth or Jason would choose. One that Leo had chosen was 'light em up' by the fallout boys. One of pipers favorites was Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heroes. I enjoyed every single one of them. One of my favorites was Poker Face by Lady Gaga. Sure not many people like her, but I liked it. Leo was surprised when on another playlist I had was all Kidz Bop.

"What?" I asked him. "What's wrong with Kidz Bop?" He didn't respond to that. When Starships by Kidz Bop came on, Leo looked at me as I were some kind of germ.

"Hey! At least it's clean!" Leo rolled his eyes as he piped open a Mt. Dew. I studied the drink,

"Leo, why do like that drink?" Leo looked at the can and stared at me once more.

"It's flipping Mt. Dew for Hades sake! How can you resist it? Want to try?" I took a sip of the drink and recoiled.

"Ewww! What did I just drink?!" I exclaimed as I spit the soda over the side. Leo laughed.

"A really good drink, that's what!" I stuck my tongue out at him and ate a Cheezit instead. It tasted a lot better! Leo put his hand in mine and squeezed it tight.

"Having fun?" He asked. I snorted,

"Of course! Why do you think I came?" But I knew why I came. Not just for fun. I just had to wait a little longer.... Leo walked over to my iPod, still holding my hand and pressed a different playlist that I had. It was my owl city one. Honey and the Bee came on, making Leo smile.

"Wow..... You still have a chance at cool music!" I rolled my eyes and punched him.

"Shut up Repair Boy! I do have good taste if you head to my Moms Zumba playlist!" Leo laughed, but picked another song I had. 1,000 Ships by Rachel Platten. He listened to it for a few minutes, then smiled.

"Reminds me of you!" I laughed too, but it was sort of uncertain. The song talked about a girl trying to tell a guy she liked him. Although, it did sound like something I would sing... Then Leo got to my classical playlist. The planets album by Holst, Gustav started to play. Leo pressed next threw all of them until he got to a song called The Cello Song by The Books. He got into the beginning beat then decided to keep it on. That sort of surprised me, but I let it go. I never knew it would appeal to him. I swayed back and forth to the beat and tapped my foot. Leo did the same. I found it sort of amusing. When that one ended, the song Pony (It's Okay) by Erin McCarley came on. Leo liked this one as well. I did too, it matched the mood. When the next song came on, I decided to look over the edge of the Argo II and think. Leo followed me. The song was called I'll Be Okay from My Best Friends Wedding. Amanda Marshall sung the part perfectly. She sung about how her character loved her best friend, but he was getting married. She sung about being okay with the whole thing. I held Leo's hand, thinking about how those words could relate to me. Leo was listening to the words too. I could tell because his eyes narrowed slightly. I would see those eyes a lot when we had been working on the ship. When that song ended, one of my favorites came on. It was a song written by my dad. No, he didn't sing, but he used a computer program to create music. It was bouncy and was named Arena. The music sounded like someone was fighting in an arena, with the crowd cheering behind them. (SPOILER ALERT!!!!!) The song reminded me of the part in the Mark of Athena when Percy and Jason were battling the twin giants. That thought gave me sad thoughts. I had to go through with my plan for that to be able to happen. The choice was coming faster than I realized. It was up to me to make sure that happened. Rick Riordan gave me the books so then I could understand why I had to give up Leo. I understood that now.

Leo clicked the menu button on my Ipod and it came to the playlist screen. He scrolled down the list and clicked a playlist labeled, Romantic Songs. My legs became jelly. Leo finished the request by clicking the first song. A Thousand Years.

Leo took my hand and said,

"May I have this dance?" My face felt hot as I excepted his hand.

"Of course." Leo lead me out onto the middle of the deck and took position. I smirked,

"Very formal Repair Boy." He smiled

"I am formal, and I'm the jokester." I giggled and we started to dance.

It felt as if it were my 16th birthday again. Happy, full of laughter, fun, but most of all, life changing. As the song continued, I barely noticed the others watching us. I became focused on the boy that had excepted me for who I was, and who I excepted for who he was.

"I can almost see how much they love each other..." Piper muttered to Jason and Annabeth. But I didn't listen. I was focused on my Repair Boy.

As we danced, the stars in the sky glowed brightly, as if just for us. The song began to come to an end and Leo leaned in. I did as well. We kissed and the others around us went,

"Aww..."

As the song ended, I pulled away and smiled at him. He smiled back.

Annabeth, Piper and Jason went over to the snacks and began to talk among themselves. Leo lead me over to the railing and we looked out over Long Island sound.

"You know," Leo said, reaching into his tool belt, "I'm going to miss this place." I looked at him,

"Why?" I asked. Leo shrugged,

"I think because of the food." I elbowed him and we laughed,

"I doubt that is the reason!" I said through my giggles. Leo smiled,

"Yeah, you're right." He pulled a small box out of his tool belt and handed it to me. "You're the reason." I excepted the box and opened it. My eyes filled with tears...

It was a beautiful necklace. I touched it gingerly, unsure if it was real. The centerpiece of the necklace was a silver circle with diamonds making the shape of a 'B'. Two other charms decorated the necklace as well. A small clover pendent with a diamond in the middle and a pearl. I cover my mouth with shock and turned to Leo. Before he could say anything, I threw my arms around him.

"Oh my gosh Leo! How did you do it?!" I asked him. He hugged me back and then looked at me,

"With my epicly awesome Leo skills!" He flexed his muscles and I laughed. Leo picked the necklace out of the box and opened the clasp. I moved my hair out of the way as he hooked it around my neck. I touched it and felt beautiful.

Then, I got a horrible pain in my brain, like a warning. I looked at the time.

OH MY GOSH!!! I was off schedule!

I looked by the edge of the ship and saw my bag leaning up against the edge. I picked it up and slung it over my shoulder. I turned to Leo, who had a puzzled look on his face.

"Clover, what are you doing?" I swallowed down my nervousness.

"Leo, I need to tell you something," he looked at me, waiting for more. I took a deep breath.

"This wasn't supposed to happen." Leo tilted his head,

"What do you mean?" I bit my lip, to fight back tears,

"Leo, I can't stay here and..." I choked out the last words, "I can't love you..." Leo looked as confused as Percy when Annabeth explained a complicated subject.

"I... I don't understand..." He said. I began to feel tears run down my face.

"Leo, I don't know if you come back. I have to leave or none of the quest will happen. Nothing. All this work," I gestured at the Argo II, "will be for nothing. I-I have to leave... And never come back." Leo looked shocked, then he folded his arms.

"Then I won't go on the quest." I shook my head,

"That's the point Leo.... You have to do it and..." I bit my lip again, but continued anyway, "and you can never remember me." Leo's eyes got wide. I held up my fingers, ready to snap.

I thought about a nice home, away from camp. I thought about my whole family. Carl, Amanda, Zoe, my dad, and my mortal mom. In my mind, I made it as if my mortal mom was my real mom. I imagined my new day of birth, my new life, a normal life. And most importantly, I was mortal. I imagined having everyone at camp forget me. My cabin mates, the seven, Leo.... Everyone. I would be a ghost in the shadows of their minds. The only person I didn't make forget was Rachel. The only person who could know about me.

"Leo," I said, "I love you." I heard him call out my name, but I snapped my fingers. The world spun around me as if i were falling into a pit and my vision went black. My last thought was,

Leo... I'm sorry....
