If only your brother knew of the relationship you held with his squire, he would likely find it a joke. You had been betrothed to a nobleman but in the recent war, he lost his life, and you were allowed to be a free woman until your father found another suitor. In your moment of freedom, you met Podrick, the young man who squired for your brother Tyrion. He may not be the best warrior nor the best squire, but he had a pure heart and tried his hardest.

As soon as you met him, it was hard to not like him. He struggled to make coherent sentences when talking to you and found it almost impossible to keep his cheeks from flushing red. When you first kissed him to stop him rambling, you thought he would faint, but your relationship soon grew. Soon you were to learn that the women of the brothel, weren't lying when they claimed he was a lover incomparable to any other. You had never lain with a man before but when the two of you ended up in your bed chamber, you couldn't imagine any pleasure quite like it.

The two of you snuck around for months, not wishing for anyone to know. He may have been of the House Payne, but he was still a squire, your family would not accept any relationship between you, and you expected they would kill him before seeing you wed to him. Tyrion would likely be happy for you both, but you couldn't trust anyone else finding out. Things were about to be harder to hide though after missing your monthly bleed and visiting a maester.

You didn't know what to do, all you knew was that you had to speak with Podrick and figure out what you were going to do. You found him along with your brother and his friend Bronn in the Hand's tower, Pod stood awkwardly beside the two men.

"Sister, what do I owe this honour?" Tyrion smiled raising his glass to you.

Podrick tried to hide his flushed cheeks, wishing that he could cross the room and kiss you but knowing he had to act as though you were merely another Lannister.

"Your name's day is coming up, is it not brother?" You smiled softly, hoping to make an excuse to get his squire alone.

"Soon yes," he nodded. "Why?"

"You know father shall not wish to celebrate, and Cersei will likely spit in your face whilst Jaime brings you a small gift when she isn't looking, I thought it'd be nice to do something this year. You are the only family I can tolerate most of the time," you said sweetly, trying to gain his favour.

"And that brings you here..." he trailed off expecting you to finish his sentence.

You waved a hand dismissively, hoping that it would seem as though you didn't truly have a plan.

"I was hoping to borrow your squire. I shall complete all the arrangements, of course, but it would help to have someone to assist me who spends all his time with you."

Podrick subtly looked at you before turning his attention back to Tyrion. Your elder brother let out a sigh before nodding his head.

"You may borrow him."

You offered him your thanks before leaving the room, Podrick following behind you. You led him to the next unoccupied room, closing the door behind the both of you.

"I have missed you milady," he smiled down at you, gently brushing his hand across your cheek.

"I have missed you too Pod," you whispered, kissing his palm as it came near to your mouth.

You wished that you could shout to the world about loving him but seen as you couldn't, you had to appreciate the moments that you had together.

"You wished to discuss Lord Tyrion's name day?" He asked, kind of confused about the conversation that you had had with your brother in his presence.

Shaking your head, you took his hand into your own.

"I needed to get you alone," you smiled.

His cheeks became red again. "For... for what, milady?"

"Please, Pod, you've fucked me like a common whore, do use my name when we are alone," you smiled softly.

Your words clearly made him further embarrassed due to his cheek colour becoming darker, and him avoiding your eye contact.

"You are no common whore, Y/N," he whispered.

"How you flatter me Podrick," you laughed. "This is not what I wished to discuss. I have something of great importance to discuss with you."

He raised an eyebrow, letting his hands trail to your waist, holding you close, concerned as to why you needed to speak to him with such urgency.

"Is everything okay?" He asked.

"It depends on your perspective," you sighed. "I do not know if I am happy or terrified frankly."

Podrick moved his hand to raise your chin so you looked him in the eyes as he offered you a warm smile.

"Do tell me Y/N, you know that I will do everything in my power to make you happy," he smiled softly.

"I'm pregnant."
