The relationship between Gorou and the reader is completely platonic!

"Lady Sangonimiya.. I can't help but believe that something went wrong with the experiment..." Y/n sweatdropped.

"Y/n we're friends, please call me Kokomi" The priestess smiled.

"All right..but could you please explain what happend to my brother?"

"It seems that one of our researchers accidentally broke a potion and as you can see, this is the result." Kokomi said pointing behind Y/n.

The h/c haired girl sighed and turned around to look at her little brother who was cuddling her tail while sleeping peacefully.

"When will he wake up?"

"Probably in an hour"

"Thank you..Kokomi."

Y/n sighed once again and pried her brothers hands off of her tail. It was a hard task to do, Gorou kept reattaching himself to the tail and hugged it like his life depended on it.

Finally she succeed. Her brother let out a whine when the warmness left him. Fortunately, his agony was short, because almost immediately after his pillow left him, he got picked up by his sister. She made sure he was secure on her back and after saying "goodbye" to the priestess of Watatsumi Island, she left the room.

On her way back home, Y/n couldn't help but think about her childhood. When Gorou had nightmares he used to come to her bedroom and ask if he could sleep with her. She could never say no to his puppy eyes. As they slept Gorou used to always snuggle her tail.

He was so small that he could use Y/n's tail as a blanket, if he curled into a ball!

Once h/c haired girl arrived home, she gently placed her brother onto her bed and took of his shoes. She covered him with her softest blanket and after making sure he's comfortable, she left the room.

Some time passed and as she was making simple dinner, her brother came out of the bedroom. His hair was a mess and based on his face, he had a hard time adjusting to the brightness of the room.

"Y/n..? Am I in your house? What am I doing here? The last thing I remember is helping Lady Sangonimiya and some other researchers with some experiments or something..." Gorou said, rubbing his eyes.

"Apparently someone broke a sleep potion and you got affected by it." Y/n said. She placed a cup with tea in the general's hands. "Be careful, it's hot."

"Mhm.." Gorou sat by a table and blowed on the hot drink.

Y/n's house was a mix of different cultures. She never sticked to one style, but somehow she made all the decorations and furniture work. The beautiful mess inside her house always made Gorou smile and feel at home.

"Thank you sister."

"Hmm? What for?"

"For taking care of me."

"My my, what a coincidence. Isn't it the general who didn't want to let go of his sister's fluffy tail as he slept?"
