Another boring day at school. While teacher was talking about useless thing, you were staring out the window, thinking about your favourite character from the game you recently discovered- Genshin Impact.

Your favourite character-Venti, Mondstadt's number 1 bard. He was very bold and free-spirited. You weren't surprised when it was revealed that he is the anemo archon. You've always thought he was sus.

After school, you came over to your best friend's house for a sleepover. F/n was a massive weeb and a complete idiot in your opinion.

"I'm boooored" You said, rolling on your friend's bed.

"Not my fault your phone died" F/n stated. They were currently playing Genshin but you sadly couldn't join them, because your stupid ass wanted to play your favourite game so much that your battery died.

"Fine. If your not gonna entertain me, I am going to sleep!" You pouted, finally leaving your bestie alone. "I wish I could teleport to Genshin.." You muttered.

"You know that there is a way right?" F/n said, not looking away from their laptop.

You instantly shoot up and looked at your new favourite person with stars in your eyes. F/n sighed and glanced at you.

"Ever heard of shifting?" You shaked your head. "Some people say that this is lucid dreaming. There are a few methods to shift, and in most of them you must write a script so your mind will know what to do. But I heard that sometimes it really transports you to another reality. Not many believes in that, but those who do, say that you can get trapped there."

"How?" You asked.

"They say that if you hear ringing of the bell you must go back to your world. If you don't, you will stay in that reality forever." Your bestie explained.

"Kinda dark if you ask me.. Let's try!"

"Done!"You exclaimed.

"Finally, you were writing this script forever!" F/n said with annoyance. "Now let's try this shifting."

"F/n how am I supposed to know if this is a dream or reality?" You asked.

"Simple, if this is a dream everything will be the same as the script you wrote. But if this is reality things will be.. well.. unpredictable." F/n shrugged.

"Okay, so when I want to go back I must clap three times and say 'return', right?"

"Yes, everything will be fine." Your best fried reassured you.

"Stay in this position and count to 100, in between the numbers you must think about positive things connected to the reality you want to go to." F/n said not looking away from their phone.

"Okay" You closed your eyes and started counting.

First thing you saw, after you opened your eyes, was the blinding light of an outside world. Where am I? This is not the place I scripted.. You thought. Could it be..? Am I.. in the other world? Other reality? Am I in Teyvat?

You looked around you. The only things you saw were trees and bushes. You looked down on yourself. The clothes you had on were not the same clothes you wore in your world. You were wearing a plain white shirt, brown vest, shorts and combat boots. On your hands were leather gloves without fingertips.In the middle of the glove, that was on your right hand, was a pretty purple stone with electro sign on it.

Is this the Electro Vision? That means that I am in Teyvat! I did it! But where am I?

"And who might you be?"

I know that in this chapter isn't much of x Venti, but I had to make something like a backstory. The x Venti starts in the next part of this story.
