Pearl - shots

I had a meeting with Drew earlier one morning to inform me that I had to meet Hunter once every three days.

It's too much.

I loathe the fact that now seeing him would become a norm.

I said this to Aven right after I came out of Drew's office. He closed the line in my face, making me jump into trillions of conclusions.

He didn't even pick up the line when I called him repeatedly for over five times.

I opened the door of my house (or I can say ours since Aven had become a permanent resistant - I'm not sad about that) only to be met by a horrible scene.

He was thrown on the couch with broken glass shots on the floor. I couldn't contain the scream inside of me when I saw him in a drunken state.

It was frightening.

He looked at me before dropping his head to the opposite side, shaking. I got rid of everything I was holding and ran across the room to where he was seated.

He was crying. His eyes red and swollen. I never saw him shed a tear.

"Aven," I mouthed, speechless to say a word. Oh my God.

"What happened?" I was walking carefully between the glass pieces. Physical pain isn't something I'd like to add to my list of current types of pain.

"He came here, your husband." He said that with so much distaste.

"Why would he?" I was finally close enough.

"You," he cried. "He wants you and Chris!"

"I'm never going back to him, baby," I held his face in my hands, feeling the warmth of his tears. "Never."

"And Drew?!" He yelled.

"I'm meeting him because he wants to talk," I said calmly. "We did nothing."

"Stop seeing him then. You two don't need to talk!" His voice was high. So high.

"Okay okay, baby."

"I love you!" he yelled the highest.
