"Shark!" "Oh my god!" "We have to get out of here!" "It's going to eat us!" "Shark!" "It's in the lagoon! Shark!" People were screaming all kinds of things once they realized what was going on. The water skiers currently bobbed in the water as they had all fallen in. "Swim! Kendall, swim!" Tyler yelled. "Get out of the water! Get out!" Michael's voice said from the stage. Kendall started to swim. Charlie coughed as she tried to swim as fast as she could. Dylan's eyes were wide as she realized the severity of the situation. "Dyl, come on!" Parker called out. Dylan stared at the shark fin and seemed to be frozen in shock. The audience members screamed and panic was beginning to ensue. Michael leaned down and started helping the water skiers out of the water. Kendall reached the dock. Michael pulled Charlie out of the water. Tyler offered his hand to Kendall. "Kenny, grab my hand!" Kendall reached for him and he pulled her out of the water. Tyler stumbled back and held her close to him. "Y'all, get out of the water!" Marty yelled into the microphone. Parker and Dylan climbed up onto the dock just as the shark tried to take a bite out of them. The shark missed and ended up taking a bite out of the wooden dock. Tyler pulled Kendall away from the edge of the dock. Kendall clung to Tyler and he stroked her hair. Michael said "it's gone." "Where is it?" Charlie asked. Parker wiped his face and said "the bumper boats." "Oh my god." Dylan shuddered.

Three months earlier:
"Introducing our new employees for the 1995 summer season!" Calvin Bouchard, the owner of SeaWorld announced. The crowd cheered. "Kendall Laramie, who happens to be my lovely daughter will be a waterskier this season." Bo Laramie, the co owner of SeaWorld told the crowd. The crowd wasn't too big. They were having a ceremony for employees and their families. Kind of like a brunch celebration type thing. Tyler Galpin sat with his father as he was forced to come. It was mandatory for the employees who had already been working there. He looked up at Kendall. It was if he was in a trance. He straightened himself up in his seat. He had known Bo Laramie had a daughter and always wondered why she didn't work at the park. Seeing her in person was mesmerizing for him. She was beautiful. And she had a mystery about her. She was beautiful and mysterious. Tyler gulped and knew she probably wouldn't give him the time of day. He could at least be friends with her, couldn't he? "Thank you, dad. Thank you, Mr. Bouchard." Kendall said. Kendall's father smiled proudly and Calvin said "I'm pleased to have you, Kenny."

Kenny

Her name rang in Tyler's head. He watched as she giggled as the cheers got louder. She's adorable. He thought. "Introducing our new marine biologist who'll be taking care of our sharks, Marina Vega!" Marina walked up to the stage to stand next to Kendall. The two of them were best friends and were so excited to be working together. Claudia Johnson rolled her eyes at Kendall getting to work at SeaWorld. She figured the girl was unbelievably rude and didn't have any talent. "She's only got a job here cause of her dad." Claudia mumbled to Marty. Marty looked at her and said "you haven't even met her. She might actually be good at waterskiing. Give her a chance." Claudia scoffed and Marty stood up, walking away to go sit with Angel. Angel worked with the sharks but wouldn't be the head biologist. He looked up at Marina and said "great. I'm not alone anymore." His tone was sarcastic and Marty said "who knows? You might like her, Angel. She might be really nice." Angel shrugged and said "maybe." "Well, at least you'll be with someone your age now." Angel nodded in agreement. Tyler would rather be anywhere than here at this inauguration. "Why don't you do water skiing this year?" Damien, Tyler's father asked him. Tyler looked at him and said "cause I already have a job. That's why I'm not up there." "Right. The coffee shop." Tyler sighed softly and said "look, I know it's not what you wanted but it's a very easy job for me. I enjoy it." "You need to be proving that you're better than most of the kids here." Damien said in a stern tone. As the rest of the new employees were announced, everyone was ushered to a restaurant to sit down and eat. The group of kids working at SeaWorld during the 1995 summer season didn't know they'd be in for romance, heartbreak, and sheer terror when a thirty foot shark and her baby enter the lagoon.

I hope y'all will enjoy this book!! If you're wanting a Wednesday fic, you'll have to go elsewhere. Like I said before, she will be mentioned but will not be making an appearance. The warnings are in the last chapter and I would greatly appreciate it if you all would just not read if it's something you're not comfortable with. Do not report. Anyways I really hope you'll all come on this ride!
