The One Where Ross Finds Out.

Monica, Rachel, Lily, Phoebe, Ross, and Joey sat in Monica's apartment chatting when Chandler walked in.

"Hey, guys,"

A loud chorus of "hey", or "hello" was returned as Chandler stood by the kitchen facing the others.

"Hey, Lily, can I talk to you for a minute?" In hopes to apologize to her, once again, and also in hopes to ask for a date.

"Sure!" Lily replied, no longer wishing to hold a grudge upon her friend whom she missed dearly these past few days of not talking to each other.

Chandler looked nervously and closed his hands together, "look, Lily, I know what I said was wrong but I-"

Lily cut him off. "Chandler, honestly, I would like for us to..put this behind us, let's just forgot about it yeah?" She smiled at him, wanting him to agree.

"Yes! I mean yeah, I would love for us to forget about it, b-but I was also wondering if I could take you on a date?" Chandler stuttered, nervously, but Lily still seemed unsure.

"Chandler, i-i don't think that's the best idea, maybe we should wait, you know. Start over as friends." Liliana smiled and put a hand on Chandler's shoulder.

Chandler nodded, though disappointed inside. "Sure, sure, of course."

"Great, well, I've got to go, see you later guys!" Lily waved to her friends, "see you Chandler." She turned out the door, and Chandler looked back at the rest of the gang.

"Okay, what is it about me? Do I not look fun enough? Is there something. . . repellent. . . about me?" Chandler asked the others,

Rachel rolled her eyes. "So I'm guessing you and Lily aren't going out yet?"

"Well, it couldn't have been worse. Okay, so what is it, am I hideously unattractive?"

Phoebe shook her head, "no, you are not, you are very attractive. You know what, I go through the same thing. Every time I put on a little weight, I start questioning everything."

Chandler widened his eyes, stepping back a little. "Woah, Woah, I've put on a little weight?"

"No, not weight... y'know, more like insulation." Phoebe tried to make up for what she said, Monica decided to cut in.

"Chandler, I'm unemployed and in dire need of a project. Ya wanna work out? I can remake you."

Chandler looked sarcastically at his friend and rolled his eyes, "Oh, you know, I would, but that might get in the way of my lying around time."

Monica somewhat pouted, "please."

The other girls laughed, "yeah, c'mon let her!"

"All right, Okay, all right. But if we put on spandex and my boobs are bigger than yours, I'm goin' home." Chandler said sarcastically, though not entirely sure about the idea still.

Pheobe waved her hands, "your boobs are fine. look, I never should have said anything. Come here. Come here." Phoebe hugs Chandler though joked when she pretends her hands are unable to meet. "Oh, can't make.... hands... meet...." Chandler pushed out of Phoebe's reach as the others laughed at their friend's comical actions.

Later that day, after going jogging with Monica, some of the gang including Lily sat at Central perk drinking coffee.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow." Chandler moaned as he picked up his coffee cup. "Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow." Joey finally had enough, putting his friends cup down for him. Chandler huffed, "She's insane, the woman is insane. It's before work, it's after work, it's during work. She's got me doing butt clenches at my desk. And now, they won't bring me my mail anymore." Chandler told Joey, referencing Monica who had taken up running with her friend.

Lily laughed at Chandler's antics, "she's only trying to help, I'm sure, but why are you running with her anyway? You've never seemed the running type."

Chandler turned on the couch quickly, to turn to Lily, though groaning in the process. "Now that's where you're wrong Liliana, I am every bit the athletic type."

Lily sipped her coffee, not quite believing him. "Well, I'm glad you've found a hobby." Laughing into her coffee cup, she saw Monica jogging into the central perk.

"Yo, Bing. Racquetball in 15 minutes." Monica told Chandler, as he turned to Joey.

"Joey, be a pal. Lift my hand and smack her with it."

Lily laughed at Chandler's sarcastic response, though heart fluttering at his antics as he smiled at her light laugh.

Though, Lily then felt her heartache for Rachel, whose face looked pained at the sight of Ross and Julie appearing.

Lily had met Julie and instantly liked her, though didn't tell Rachel from the way she reacted with Monica and Julie shopping. But Rachel was Lily's friend, and her heart ached to see her unhappy, wishing the two would somehow end up together, as she believed fate would bring them together and maybe even herself and another.

"You okay?" Lily whispered to Rachel, who smiled lightly at her.

"C'mon you guys, I don't care, I have a date tonight."

Joey looked in shock, "Woah, Woah, Woah, you have a date?"

"yeah, Monica's setting me up!" Rachel looked almost smug,

"But uh, uh, what about uh, Ross and uh. . ." Joey tried to talk about it lightly, not wanting to upset Rachel.

Once again, Rachel rolled her eyes at the guys tiptoeing around the situation. "Oh what, my whole insane jealousy thing? Well, y'know, as much fun as that was, I've decided to opt for sanity."

"So you're okay about all this?" Chandler asked,

"Oh yeah, c'mon, I'm movin' on. He can press her up against that window as much as he wants. For all I care, he can throw her through the damn thing." Rachel laughed, waving it off.

As Ross and Julie come closer, Rachel stood up quickly, surprising Lily and Chandler.

"Well." Rachel looked at her watch, "Woah ok at that! I gotta go, I gotta date. With a man. Um, okay, you guys have a, uh, have a really good night and you two have a, uh, have a, uh, really good cat." She walked out with her with tray, though then realizing what she'd done. "Okay, we're not supposed to take these when we leave."

Lily turned to Chandler and Joey, "sometimes I do wonder about her."

"Don't we all," Joey said as the other two laughed.

The next morning, Monica had knocked on Chandler's door in hopes of going running.

"No, no, no, no, no, no." Chandler opened the door to Monica, "no. Monica, it's Sunday morning. I'm not running on a Sunday."

Monica once again rolled her eyes and pouted at Chandler's actions. "Why not?"

"Because it's Sunday, it's God's day."

Lily, who had been woken up by the pair, rubbed her eyes as she opened the door. "Will you two shut up? It's a Sunday."

Chandler looked at Lily, "see Monica, Lily understands we need sleep on Sunday."

Raising her eyebrows, Lily again looked at the pair. "I'm not saying you need sleep, I need sleep. Now shut up before I throttle you both, I'm cranky when I'm sleepy." She yawned, turning and closing the door behind her.
