The city of London was beautiful, almost like a painting everywhere you went. Yes, it could be loud, and at all times of the day it was busy, but everyone was happy. Every street had food stalls the made the air smell as delicious as the food would taste and every street was filled with tourists that seemed in awe of the great city. There was something different yet so similar about both London and New York. Being back here made Lily think, yes she disliked being in London because of her obnoxious mother who presumed she ran her life, but she enjoyed it here. Would it be a better environment for her daughter to grow up in rather than the busy streets, in a flat in New York?

Her mind was continually spinning, of course, she loved London, but what about Chandler? She couldn't move away from him, Charlie's also his daughter, after all, it wouldn't be fair, and she couldn't ask him to move with them, they weren't even dating after all. All this thinking was brought on by her mother's words, what if the group weren't her real friends? Of course, they were all lovely but did they truly care about lily the way they cared for Chandler? Apart from James, who was back in New York, Lily didn't have anyone else, it wasn't her home. But a part of Lily felt that apart of her home lived in both Charlie and Chandler.

After her talk with her mother, Lily decided to take her friends out properly, as it was clear to Lily that Joey was bursting with excitement like a little child, almost like Charlie when she was playing with her toys or even eating her food. Whilst also taking Charlie out in her pram, Lily decided to take the group towards the south bank, just beside the river Thames for a meal as exploring the whole city could wait for another time. Being dropped off by a driver her father had called for the lot of them, the group was unable to break Joey out of a sort of trance he was in, looking at everything around him with an open mouth. "I'd close your mouth Joe, you might catch flys," Lily told him jokingly as the rest of them chuckled at their friend.

Rachel also looked like she was going to burst with excitement, looking in every shop window she passed by, "I think I'm in heaven." She said, almost squealing. "Wait until you get onto oxford street," Lily chuckled, as Rachel squealed a little more.

Ross put his fingers in his ears, "squeal a little louder Rach, I don't think the bird on top of St Paul's could hear you." He said, as Rachel huffed and sent him a glare. Monica slapped her brother on the arm, "don't be such a downer, we're tourists, we're allowed to show our excitement." Monica said as Lily led them to a fancy restaurant, which Monica then allowed herself to be in awe of.

"This place looks amazing," Monica said as Lily led them inside. Lily laughed slightly, and turned to Monica, "it's almost as nice as your place, Mon."

Monica raised her eyebrows, "I'll be the judge of that." The group laughed, as they sat down at their table. Chandler didn't take his eyes off Lily though, noticing something was off, and it seemed to be ever since she had been called into her mother's office.

"Lil, what's up?" Chandler whispered to Lily as the rest of the group chatted about what they were going to visit in London. Lily smiled and nodded, not knowing what to reply to Chandler.

Lily smiled slightly looking at Charlie, "I just want what's best for her, and at this point, I'm deciding what that is." She then looked back at Chandler, who looked slightly confused as well as worried.

"I just don't know what to do," Lily muttered.
