"James! I swear to God, you leave me one more time to talk to nurses when I am in the middle of giving birth, there'll be another reason for nurses to talk to you! Because you'll be in a hospital bed!" Lily shouted to him, in a hospital bed, being near to giving birth.

"Sweetie, calm down, everything shall be fine." Monica, who was also there, told her friend, as she also then turned to James. "James! Do as the woman says, get in here."

Monica sat beside Lily and wiped back her sweaty hair, hoping to make her feel a bit better. It was only Monica, Phoebe and James who were there. Sadly, Rachel was unable to come since being stuck at work but she sent her luck, and Lily knew she would visit as soon as she could.

Lily did wish Chandler was there, whispering that she was doing well, encouraging her to push and telling her that after all the pain is over, everything would be okay, but she knew that wasn't going to happen, so she appreciated all the help she had right now, without all the people there, she didn't know how she would do it.

It was at this point, Lily was giving birth to her baby girl, pain sought through her body and she held hands with James and Monica with Phoebe being in the room, encouraging her. After many hours of labor, Lily sat in her hospital bed, holding her small child in her hands, not allowing her eyes to be taken off of her.

"My sweet little angel, you're gorgeous." She whispered to the baby that laid in her arm,

"She is." A voice at the door said, as Lily looked up and saw Chandler leaning up against the door frame, looking at the baby in her arms.

Lily looked down once again at her daughter, "what are you doing here Chandler?" She asked, still not looking at him.

"Well, i-i wanted to come and see how you were, an-and the baby." He told her, as she looked up at him kindly.

"Well, we're doing just fine, you can go now, I understand." She told him, as he came closer towards her and went to sit next to her on the bed, but pulled back, not wanting to make her feel uncomfortable.

"N-no, I need to say something to you." He told her, as she looked up at him questioningly.

"I was so wrong, so wrong Lily for doing that to you, I was a complete dick, and I fully understand that now. This last year has been hell for me, and I know it shouldn't have been because I wasn't the one who was left pregnant, but it was, I had finally found the one who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with and I threw it all away because of my immaturity, because I acted like an idiot, and I see that now. I in no way expect you to take me back, not now, not ever again, but I ask you dearly with all my heart, please allow me to be in our child's life, I'll do anything and prove anything to you. I can't turn out my father, please."

Lily looked at him softly, "daughter." She told him as he looked confused at her, "sorry?" He asked.

"Your daughter's life, Chandler, it's a girl." She told him, as Chandler looked as though he was almost ready to burst into tears at the sight of his daughter.

"I'm so sorry, Lily, I can't tell you how sorry I am."

Lily shushed him kindly, not wanting to be apologized to, she understood his reason. "Chandler, it's okay, now I don't think we can be together anytime soon, but I'm never going to stop you from being in her life, I'm a parent now, I'll always do what's best for her." He nodded, as Lily gestured him to come closer to the bed.

"Do you want to hold her?" She asked as he nodded silently, with Lily putting her in his arms carefully.

"Hi sweetie," Chandler said to his daughter, touching her cheek softly.

At that moment, Lily knew she had made the right decision. Allowing chandler to be apart of his daughter's life will help him grow, appreciate more and become a better person. This taught Lily a lesson, forgiving people may have consequences sometimes yes, but it also has a lot of bonuses. Each one of us should learn to forgive, so in time, fate can take its course and will hopefully make our lives into a better place, so we don't hate, nor pity people, we cherish them, and cherish the times we have with them.

Bringing her out of her thoughts, Chandler spoke to her. "So, what's the little girl's name then?" He asked, though Lily not know the answer, knowing it had to be special.
