Season 2

"All I'm saying is to go out with the guy! Just once, you don't like him, scrap him." Monica exclaimed to Lily, who rolled her eyes at her friend.

"It's not that I don't like him Mon, he's just... Not my type, I guess." Lily replied,

"He's Ross, what's not to love?"

"Every time I talk to him the sentence starter is, 'did you know 2000 years ago'. Would you want to go out with a guy like that? Plus he likes Rachel and he's my friend as well as your brother, so not a chance." Lily explained as Monica sipped her coffee,

"Is he still in love with Rachel? Jesus, I thought that ended years ago."

"Love never dies Mon, never dies."

Monica laughed along with Lily, "well who would you go out with? I've tried to set you up with so many guys and it's just a no go with all of them."

"Maybe I just haven't met the right guy yet, or maybe I'll never find a guy, at the rate my love life is going that seems like the best option," Lily said quietly, drinking her coffee.

"Don't say that Lily, have you seen you? You're a catch!" Monica told her,

Lily laughed at her friend, "I'm not too sure Mon."

Monica turned to Liliana, "let me set you up on a blind date then, I know a guy who would be perfect for you, please let me do this."

Once again, Lily rolled her eyes at Monica's hope of running her love life.

"Fine, but I swear to God Monica if this guy is a druggie, an alcoholic or anything else where the date will be awkward as fuck, I will never let you go near my love life again!"

Monica smirked, "cross my heart." She said as she made a cross over her heart in hopes for her friend to believe her.

Lily huffed, not looking forward to this date. "Fine, well I gotta go to work but I'll see you later, looking forward to this date of yours. When is it anyway?"

"Friday, at 6 pm." Monica smirked at Lily and she sighed.

"Okay, Friday, got it." Lily began walking out the door as she bumped into Chandler, who seemed to be coming over to Monica's.

"Oh hey Chandler," Lily smiled softly, beginning to feel butterflies as the brunette smiled back at her.

"Hey Lily, see you later."

"Yeah, see you." The two parted as Lily began to walk down out of the apartment building and Chandler walked into his friend's apartment when Monica seemed to be smiling mischievously at him.

Chandler looked nervously at his friend, "what? Are you drunk? Why are you looking at me like that?"

Monica stood up, "no reason." She shrugged.

Turning to her friend once more she asked, "so what you doing this Friday, cause I know someone who would love to go on a date with you."

Monica knew her plan had worked, though undoubtedly scared of what Lily would do when she found out who her blind date was.
