Imagine..... 🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿🌹🌿

You practically flung open your door in excitement and relief, feeling happy to actually be home after such a long day away. Things have been tough lately since you've seemed to lose so many people you cared about. Not because of death. Just because of... well life. The main one, is Ivy. Ivy Pepper has been your best friend since you both were little tots. And her life was never truly easy for her.

You being only two years older than her, it was easy for you two to be the best of friends. And her love of plants has always caught your interest. Especially the way she cares for them. She has the green thumb. And you softly smiled just thinking of the red head, slipping your shoes off as you smiled at the little ray of light shining into your living room, amazed at it actually.

It's Gotham. It's never sunny and bright here. Your eyes narrowed as you walked further inside, when a little gasp escaped you upon seeing some random woman standing there, her fingers twirling around one of Ivy's plants you keep at your house.

You've always lived alone it seems. Even now. Your parents have never been around. So, you go at it alone. And usually always with either Ivy or Selina. But your thoughts were shattered at seeing this girl, taking you off guard, the only thing you could do was stare. She looks so much like Ivy. Just... older.

"(Y/N).... You've been taking care of them like I knew you would. Thank you." You dropped your bag from her sudden words, your mouth flying open, but not being able to speak. And her knowing look made you feel as if you were going crazy. This is Ivy..... You could feel it. But... but how in the world did she grow? No way....

"Ivy....? What on earth...? How...." Ivy simply shrugged, looking just as lost as you felt. And her fingers continued to dance with the leaves on the plants, a warm, little smile coming to her lips.

"I don't know. But... I feel so alive. I feel.... strong. For once in my life, I feel content." She gazed at you with a happy little smile on her lips, your eyes traveling to the now moving plant, really, really surprising you. Just her simple touch is making the plants come to life. Your best friend is back. But.... older. It's like she's grown just as fast as one of her plants. The people of Gotham are never going to believe this. Or at this point, maybe they will.
