Imagine...
Oh no... These damn guards are so nosy! Why must they insist on eyeing us like prey? You get it, we're all crazy, psychotic criminals that could at any moment just jump them... But that doesn't mean we will! Well, for now. Unless one of the extreme crazies is let out. The last one jumped a guy and ripped his ear clean off with his teeth. It was pretty wicked! Anyhow...

You sat in the back of the room away from everyone, drawing like mad on a big piece of paper you found, out of pure boredom. You sighed a little, instantly dropping your pencil, getting annoyed. They need better entertainment here. Suddenly, a blond haired woman came walking into the room, an annoyed look on her face, making you instantly smile.

She looks the way you feel really. You instantly waved at her, looking crazed while you did it, seeing the conflict on her face, before she finally made it your way. You jumped up from your seat, a huge smile on your face, seeing the same annoyed look on her face.

"I'm (Y/N)! Welcome to Arkham. Where we're all branded crazies and the guards stalk you. I hope you enjoy your stay." You smirked a little at her, seeing her assessing you, before a little smile lit up her face, amusement showing in her eyes.

"I'm Barbara. And I'm not crazy. I just have... issues." You laughed a little, already liking her.

"Ha! I said the same thing. But I guess killing your folks doesn't make you sane now a days. It's rather sad really..." You dramatically sighed, seeing her eyes widen in surprise.

"You too...?" You eyed her, surprised yourself. You never would have guessed she'd do something like that. She doesn't seem the type. But then again, this is Gotham after all.

"Wow... No way! This is incredible. So you get it? Don't get me wrong I loved them! I really did. Buuuut, they were pushovers. They were always on me about this and that. Sooo, I ended it. Simple as that." Barbara looked away for a moment, before slowly sitting down, looking back at you. You sat along with her, watching her. She seemed a bit nervous. You were nervous as well your first day. You gently placed your hand on her arm, in a comforting gesture, giving her a soft smile.

"It's okay. It gets better. This place is actually entertaining." She smiled, a thankful smile.

"Thanks. It does seem a bit... strange. But what can you expect?" You grinned, a humored grin. Yeah, you guys are going to be great friends!
