introduction:

In the world of Greek Mythology, no child of the gods was safe from the luminous and tragic stories they would have to endure as their destinies. Thrust into chaos always having to prove to their parents that they are worthy. They had to live with what they were given, follow the rules that they were told and do what was expected of them. Children of the gods always follow what their fates are until a certain quest that makes the children of the gods question everything.

Violetta Andrea Serrano is the daughter of Persephone, one of the rare demigod children. She was not prepared for any of her new life besides the stories her father told her. Violetta felt stuck between two worlds trying to figure out who she was. She knew being half goddess was a part of her. The Daughter of Persephone was supposed to be soft and wear her heart on her sleeve, not someone who is strong or even has a dark side. She tried not to listen to what was expected of her, one thing was for sure, she never lost sight of her humanity.

Raphael Damian De Luca, son of Ares, fought hard to not be what everyone expected from the child of the god of war. Getting kicked out of schools due to excessive fighting however, Camp Half-blood helped a bit with teaching him to control his anger. Unfortunately, his efforts will never be enough especially in the eyes of the gods. He could never not be angry at his father, the gods, and even himself. The loss of his mother made Raphael become more closed off, causing him to live in his anger to feel something, but he never wanted to be a monster.

Violetta and Raphael are both the few head counselors at the camp, they had to be positive examples and provide a safe environment for everyone. Despite that they both could bring out the worst in each other, especially when Raphael manipulates Violetta's darker thoughts. But then they had their moments where they could see each other more than everyone expected of them. Their rivalry was something that caused both to drive each other insane, not knowing what they truly are to one another. It was a worse fate than death.

Especially when a prophecy comes to life, they must put it aside as they joined Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase and Grover Underwood to catch the lightning thief. All to stop a war amongst the gods. Along their journey they must face mythological enemies determined to stop them all while they are trying to figure out who they are. And the fates loved their Greek tragedies, especially the one for the daughter of Persephone and son of Ares.
