Chris's POV

"Yes, sir. I have him." I spoke. "He's in my house."

"What's he doing?"

"Sleeping, sir."

"Did you drug him?"

"Not yet, sir."

"Why not?" He demanded.

"Because I need him to trust me first, sir."

He stood, walking towards me. He roughly took hold of one of the horns on my head, twisting and pulling me up. I hissed in pain, trying to keep a straight face. "Then make him trust you."

"It takes time, sir." I grunted.

"You have one week. Don't make me do it myself. You will regret it."

"Yes, sir."

He cursed under his breath, rolling his eyes. He threw me to the ground. "Go home. Get out of my sight."

"Yes, sir." I sighed, standing up. I bowed, leaving the room.

What an insufferable bastard he is. I've told him time in and time out, that my magic will only work if the victim is attached to me in some way or another.

I lifted my hand, touching my horn. Motherfucker. I hate when he does that. It usually hurts for days afterwards. I think it's his way of getting me to 'behave'. He thinks by hurting me, I'll do what he wants. He's a sadistic son of a bitch. He'll hurt anyone to get what he wants.

Once I was a safe distance away from his castle, I reverted to my human form. He didn't like it, as it was 'unattractive' and 'unnatural'. He doesn't spent half his time around humans, I do. What humans find attractive, and what demons find attractive are two very different things.

I watched the skin on my arms go from dark purple scales, to pale, smooth human flesh. I winced a little as my horns disappeared. They hurt from their previous assault as the magic flowed through them. I felt my fangs become smaller, and I was now able to close my mouth fully. I felt my wings disappear, and I knew I was ready to go home. I was tired and my body ached.

I opened a portal that went from Hell to my home, stepping through.
