JamesB: I'm going to start going to McGill College soon. And I want to tell you all something about me. To you, I'm just a normal boy that loves singing. Or, atleast that is who I am to Social Media. When I was born, I had a severe stammer. It was so bad I couldn't even get sounds out to begin with. Do you know what it's like to feel like you're hitting a glass wall every time you speak? I do. It broke down any bit of confidence I had. Which wasn't a lot to start with. Music was my escape. I'd put on a song and it was like none of this mattered. I learned how to play the guitar and other instruments. I wrote my own songs. I just needed a voice. So I practised every single day. Failing 10/10 times to begin with. But one day I just put on some music, and sang along to the words. This boy that would only ever hum a tune out of fear of stammering was now SINGING. Apparently it's a form of speech therapy for some. My stammer isn't cured. But it's definitely a lot better. Yes, I was bullied for it. Badly. But I showed them who's really laughing now. I overcame my struggles, and I still am in some ways. So you can overcome yours.
