लोकाभिरामं रणरंगधीरं राजीवनेत्रं रघुवंशनाथम्।
कारुण्यरूपं करुणाकरं तं श्रीरामचन्द्रं शरणं प्रपद्ये।।

I take refuge in that Ram who enchants everyone, the master of the stage of war, the lotus-eyed lord of the Raghu clan who is compassion-personified.

भूमेर्दुहितरं विद्यां नमामि प्रकृतिं शिवाम् |
पौलस्त्यैश्वर्यसंहत्रीं भक्ताभीष्टां सरस्वतीम् ||

I salute you, the one who is the daughter of earth and the embodiment of knowledge; the auspicious prakriti, the destroyer of the power and supremacy of oppressors like Ravana and fulfiller of the wishes of the devotees, and also embodiment of Saraswati.

मनोजवम् मारुततुल्यवेगम्
जितेन्द्रियम् बुद्धिमताम् वरिष्ठम् ।
वातात्मजम् वानरयूथमुख्यम्
श्रीरामदूतम् शरणम् प्रपद्ये ॥

I take refuge of Hanuman, the messenger of Shri Ram, whose mind is as sharp and swift as the wind. The one who has subdued his senses and is the most intelligent among the wise, the son of Vayu who is the chief of the Vanara race.
