Hanuman thought the men in front of him weren't flattered and hence showered more praises at them. But even the Shri Ram and Lakshman stayed silent.

It was obvious now that these brothers weren't going to give in to flattery and are hard to trick. Hence Hanuman dropped his disguise and came straight to the point.

"Yaha Vanaro ke nikaashit Raja, Dharmparayan Sugreev ka vaas hai. Mai unka matri Hanuman hu. Sugreev ne hi mujhe aapke paas bheja hai, woh aapse maitri chahte hai." Hanuman said.

And now he stood there without saying a word. Hanuman has made the offer now it was upto the two brave looking men either to accept it or deny it.

Shri Ram looked at Lakshman, he had keenly observed the words spoken by Hanuman, along with his body language and mannerisms. Shri Ram was both pleased and impressed.

"Lakshman, jis vyakti ke paas Rigved, Yajurved aur Samved ka gyaan nahi, woh Hanuman jaise baat kar hi nahi sakta. Inki madhyam swar ki vaani kitni sankshipt, saaf, bina kahi ruke ya bina kisi kampan ki hai. Inhone itna bola kintu ek shabd bhi anupyukt ya vyarth nahi tha, yeh awashya vyaakran ke gyaata hai. Inki boli kitni shudh aur spasht hai, inke shabd bhi atyant shubh aur manobhavan hai. Bolte samaye inke mukh, netra, kapaat ya anya kahi pe koi bhi khot nahi tha. Yeh itne madhurbhaashi hai ki apne shabdo aur vaani se shatru ko bhi mitra bana de." Shri Ram said.

He was extremely impressed by Hanuman's erudite nature and well spoken self. His words were timely and contextual, his tone was pleasant to the listener, his speech was extremely sophisticated like that of a Pandit who had mastered Vyakaran and Vedas.

"Jis Raja ka doot aur mantri Hanuman jaisa ho, uske sabhi karya safal hone hi hai, Lakshman." Shri Ram said and his younger brother nodded in agreement.

"Hanuman, hume Sugreev ke Dharmparayanta ke baare mei gyaan hai. Hum ussi se milne yaha aaye hai. Hume uski maitri swikaar hai." Lakshman said.

Hanuman was delighted to hear that, and offered to take them to the Vanaras.

"Rishyamukh parvat jaane ka maarg atyant durgam hai. Aap mere kandhe par viraajmaan ho jayiye. Mai aapko Vayu ke maarg se le jaunga." Hanuman said.

And to much of Shri Ram and Lakshman's astonishment, Hanuman expanded in size. Helping them both to sit on his shoulder, he flew to the peak of Rishyamukh parvat.

This is what Shri Ram had to say about Hanuman Ji's speech -

I couldn't help but just put this in the way it is, because it shows the very nature and character of Hanuman ji, which is also a lot of times not shown accurately in TV serials.

The charitra of Hanuman ji in Ramayan is very interesting, because he is such a smart person. But his intelligence is overlooked in TV shows, and they show him as gullible and 'chanchal'.

He was chanchal in childhood just like every child. But his grown up self is a lot mature. All his words and actions were strategic and well calculated.

He is referred as Buddhimataam Varishtam, meaning among those who possess intelligence, he is supreme.
