The superlative and marvelous sacrificial enclosure was finally prepared. Shri Ram when he first saw it experience unequalled delight at its magnificence.

All the kings from all over the world came, and Shri Ram honoured them. He ordered costly royal pavilions for those great rulers together with their retinues.

Bharata, together with Shatrughan, gave food, drink, and garments to those kings and their entourage. All the great Vanaras, along with Sugreev, humbly waited upon the brahmans.

Vibhishan too, surrounded by many garlanded rakshasas, waited upon the seers of fierce austerities as their servant.

Rameshwari, in proper accordance, continuously gave away silver, gold, jewels, and garments, there appeared no end to those gifts.

And thus, in strict accordance with the injunctions, that sacrifice, the Ashwamedh, commenced. There was no one who was unwashed, unhappy, or underfed.

Even the great seers there who had lived a long time could not recall such a sacrifice that had been adorned with such an abundance of gifts.

"Aisa yagya toh Indra, Chandra, Varun ya Yamdev ne bhi nahi kiya hoga." They said.

The Vanaras were stationed everywhere, as were the Rakshasas, and, they gave clothing and wealth generously to those who desired them.

Such was the sacrifice, replete with every virtue, of Shri Ram. It continued for more days and was in no way deficient.

While that preeminent and marvelous sacrifice was proceeding, Brahmarishi Valmiki came there along with his disciples.

When he had viewed that heavenly sacrifice, so marvelous to behold, he had some charming leaf huts constructed a little apart from the encampments of the seers.

He summoned two of his disciples, Luv and Kush.

"Aagya Gurudev." They said with joined hands.

"Kal pratah, Rishi Muniyo ke pavitra chaavniyo ke paas jaao aur unhe Ramayan, sampoorn roop mei sunao, jaise maine sikhaya tha. Khaas kar Maharaj Ram Chandra ki chaavni ke bahar baithe pujariyo ko bhi sunana. Aur yadi Prithvi ke swami, Ram swayam tumhe bulaye, sabke saamne prastuti dene ko aur tumse tumhare Pita ka naam puche, toh kehna ki tum Valmiki ke shishya ho. Smaran rakhna, Maharaj ka aadar karna kyu woh sabhi praja ke Pita hai, tumhare bhi." Valmiki instructed.

"Jo aadesh." Luv Kush bowed, taking to heart those splendid words spoken by their Guru.

They spent the night in great anticipation and when the sun has arisen, and the day had began, the twins bathed, made their oblations into the fire and then sang in place after place, just as they had been instructed to do earlier by their Guru Valmiki.

While playing on the very melodious strings and their frets, as Valmiki has taught them earlier, they sang confidently. Delighted at heart and with great concentration, they sweetly sung this song to the accompaniment of both stringed and percussion instruments.

They sang Ramayan in its entirety in the holy encampments of the seers, in the dwellings of the brahmans, on the royal highways and byways, and at the dwellings of the kings.

Meanwhile, in the camp of Shri Ram, the war story of Rameshwari was being told by Lakshman in the presence of his brothers and Vibhishan, Sugreev and Hanuman, who were listening with great interest.

"Avanti ke yoddhao ko toh ek kshan aisa laga ki swayam mrityu devi aake yudh kar rahi hai." Lakshman said.

"Tumne meri vidya ki laaj rakh li, Hanumanti." Hanuman said in jest.

"Nahi Gurudev, yeh toh aapki di vidya thi jisne meri laaj rakhi." She said.

"Ramey, kya mritako ke deh sanskar kiya tha ?" Shri Ram asked.

"Ha Pitashree, niyam anusaar kiya tha, sampoorn sammaan sahit." Rameshwari said.

"Uttam." Shri Ram smiled caressing her head.

Suddenly two sweet voices of young boys fell in their ears, which was recognised instantly by Rameshwari who stood up from her seat.

"Pitashree, mere saath chaliye. Aapko kuch dikhana hai." She said.

"Ramey, kya yeh wahi do balak hai jo meri jeevan katha har jagah jaa ke sunate hai ?" Shri Ram asked, he was aware about the narrative being sung of his past adventures in various lands and about the unprecedented mode of recitation, which was ornamented by singing, replete with the various tempos.

"Ha yeh wahi dono hai." Rameshwari said with smile, her voice getting a little shaky.

"Toh inse akele kya milna ? Inko sabhi ke sammukh prastut karwao." Shri Ram said smilingly.

"Jaisi aapki aagya. Mai abhi prabandh karwati hu." Rameshwari said and hurriedly left the camp.
