The chariots halted at the royal stables of Ayodhya, the head Ashwapal came to greet the king and their princess, who had come together after long.

Ever since the Ashwapal saw Rameshwari in the Rang-bhoomi, he desired to offer her hospitality for her kind and gentle behaviour to the horse.

He took both Shri Ram and Rameshwari, in his home, where he and his wife welcomed them in the prescribed manner. They even offered them some food to have.

"Bahut dino baad yaha ana huya hai Ashwapal, aapke Ghar mei sab kushal toh hai na ?" Rameshwari asked as last time she was around 4-5 years of age.

"Ha Rajkumari, Ishwar ki kripa sab kushal hai." Ashwapal said.

"Kya aap aur aapka parivar santusht hai ? Kisi vastu ki kami toh nahi ?" Shri Ram asked.

"Nahi Maharaj. Aapke karan kisi vastu ki awashyakta nahi hai. Hum sab santusht hai aur sukh se apne dharm ka palan karte hai." Ashwapal said.

"Ati-uttam." Shri Ram smiled.

"Maharaj, Rajkumari, aap dono ke punah ek saath aane se mera ghar dhanya ho gaya hai. Batayiye mai aap dono ki kya sewa Karu ?" Ashwapal asked.

"Jo Ashwa Rang-bhoomi mei Rajkumari ne shaant karaya tha, unhe usse milne ki iccha hai." Shri Ram said.

"Awashya. Chaliye mere saath." Ashwapal said.

He lead both Shri Ram and Rameshwari to the horse stables where best breeds from Kambhoj, Bahalik and Vanayu were kept.

Rameshwari keenly looked at them, those horses were best of Bharatvarsh and indeed admirable. But none of them seemed to posses the magnificence of that black horse that she had tamed in the Rang-bhoomi.

And suddenly the thunderous neigh of a horse fell on their ears, they looked ahead only to see that majestic black horse running freely in circles.

But his speed was something else, never did they saw any horse run so fast, as if cutting through the winds. Compared to other horses, this one was visibly bigger and stronger as well. This horse could rival with Ucchashraiva of Bali.

"Isse adhik gati-vaan ashwa toh maine kabhi nahi dekha." Shri Ram said.

"Yeh jitna gati-vaan hai utna hi krudh. Yeh kabhi humare ankush mei aya hi nahi. Isko baandhne mei 10 vyakti lagte the. Lekin chuki Rajkumari ne hume kaha tha uss Ashwa ko baandh ke na rakhe, humne use khula chhoda hai." Ashwapal said.

"Kripiya iss Ashwa ka naam bataye." Rameshwari asked.

"Chuki yeh Kambhoj-pashu, Ashwo ka Indra pratit hota hai, Ayodhya nahi apetu sampoorn Bharatvarsh mei isse uttam Ashwa nahi, iss liye humne iska naam Vajra rakha hai." Ashwapal said.

"Vajra." Rameshwari muttered with a smile.

And the moment his name left from her mouth the majestic black horse, stopped in his tracks and turned his head towards them.

Seeing the familiar face of Rameshwari, the horse neighed softly as he walked towards her. A smile appeared on the face of the princess, as she held his face caressing his long black soft mane.

The horse lowered his head and touched it's forehead with that of Rameshwari causing her to chuckle.

And much to the astonishment of Ashwapal, Vajra went towards the stable, grabbed reigns from his mouth and walked back to the princess, giving it in her hands.

"Rajkumari, Vajra ne aapko apni swamini chuna hai." Ashwapal said.

"Satya ?" Rameshwari asked amused.

"Ha. Yeh dhura dene ka ek hi arth hai ki yeh aapka swamitya swikaarta hai." Ashwapal said.

Rameshwari looked at her father who was already smiling assuring at her.

"Bharatvarsh ka sarvashreshth ashwa ab tumhara huya Ramey." Shri Ram said happily.
