"You enormous motherf--" I screamed at Black Seven as he took Joker's nail gun and sent two nails through his hands behing Joker's back but I got cut off by him throwing a knife at me. 'I'll force-feed him his kneecaps!'

Black Seven used tongs to bend the pointed tips of the big nails to hooks to keep Joker's hands together. "Your language is awful." His evil, green eyes glared up at me through the smoke as I grabbed the gun tighter and pointed it at him. "Better than your personality, I'd say!"

"Better than my...!" Black Seven's eyes widened and he gasped, giving me the most outraged look while he pulled out a small remote control from his black coat and pushed a button.

I immediately felt an electric shock that made me drop the gun but as it wore off and I wanted to walk towards him to punch his insides out, I realized that I couldn't move. Not even a finger. 'Great, he controls the technology of my batsuit!'

"I think we need to talk about some things, B-Man." Jay sighed while I stared at Joker who started to breath again. 'I need Black Seven to focus on me so Joker can back the hell off.' My eyes met Jay's and he let out a deep, angry growl. "Because I think you are missing something here."

"You see that little space between my fingers?" A smile grew on my face as Black Seven looked closer to my right thumb and pointer finger that almost touched. "That's the amount of fucks I give about your dumb-ass opinion."

Black Seven gave me a weird smile and rolled his eyes. "Ah-hahahaha! So damn funny, I freaking can't breath." He clapped his hands right in front of my face, starting to get more aggressive. "I.freaking.can't!" He yelled at me and I felt really uncomfortable, knowing this lunatic was losing it completely right now and I couldn't do a single thing.

Meanwhile, I saw Joker starting to move, he tried to separate his hands as he slowly turned to his right side and stared over to Black Seven and me, his eyes glassy of pain but a jokingly grin on his face while he breathed heavily. "Well, well, well." His raspy voice sounded like talking was giving him actual pain while he didn't take his eyes off that single spot behind me but I couldn't check on it since I wasn't able to turn my head.

"Looks like Blacky wants to play with the fire." Joker chuckled while his wounds stopped bleeding but he still didn't move as Black Seven walked over to him. "You're not in the position to joke!" Jay stopped after a view steps and turned around to stare at something behind me as well. "Then again..." A big smile on his face, he walked back, passed me and I heard him picking something up.

The only evidence of what this something was was the reaction I received from Joker as he narrowed his eyes in anger and his upper lip twitched. 'Dear lord, don't let her be dead!' I thought as I heard Black Seven walking towards us and passed me, my anger rising to a whole new level as I noticed what he actually carried, or more like...who he was dragging after him.

"Who am I to judge other's and their decisions?" Black Seven chuckled and pulled Harley up by her arm, revealing the injuries all over her face and legs that included bruises, scratches, stab wounds and her right cheek missing the skin completely.

Joker didn't take his mad eyes off Harley's face that looked way too relaxed to me, the orange smoke made her white skin glow. "I mean, Harley's the perfect example of bad decisions, am I right?" Jay grabbed her lower jaw and cheeks while he turned her face towards him. The second he touched her face, Harley slowly opened her eyes and stared at Black Seven with a tired look and eyes that were full of pain. "Look at this gorgeous face, such beautiful eyes. How could someone like her put up with a freak like...him?" Black Seven glared at Joker who shot an 'I'll skin four throat and feed you maggots' look right back at him.

"Fuck...you." Harley tried to make her voice sound strong but she was barely able to even keep her eyes open. But at least her comment made Joker grin weakly. 'I need to get control over my batsuit again! But...how?' Unable to move, I watched Black Seven letting go of Harley's face and slapping her with the back of his right hand.

"I thought Joker taught you some manners, one being not to say those things to someone who could kill you within a second." He smiled and let go of her arm, causing her to fall down because she couldn't stand all by herself anymore - but just before she hit the ground, Black Seven kicked her in her left side with his knee, making her letting out a quiet scream before she landed on the rooftop, right beside Joker but still a view feet between them.

"Did you know that Joker didn't actually push her into the chemicals?" Jay asked but I avoided eye contact with him, he wasn't worth being looked at. 'If I manage to get my hands on him...I wouldn't actually know how a way to kill him that'd be painful enough for him.'

"That's a funny story, and she told me that she regrets it." The way Black Seven stared at Joker told me that he had some plan. And that sent goosebumps all the way down my back while he gave Harley a smirk. "I'll tell you about it, this will be fun!"

♦♦Flashback♦♦

Joker glared at Harleen as she stood in front of him, the smell of chemicals covered them and the dull light of the green waste inside the six vats two stories below them gave the room a spooky glow. It was almost midnight and not a single sound could be heard, except for the hot liquid cooking inside the tanks.

"I never said we were dating!" Joker's outraged voice echoed through the big building and made the metal railing next to him slightly shake. "Enough already that you chased me with your high-ass tricycle for a mile through Gotham, now you also stalk me here?" His emerald green eyes were locked onto Harleen's ice blue ones while she shook her head in disbelieve.

"I wanted to talk to you earlier today, but that didn't get me anywhere, so I want you to listen now and very carefully!" Harleen was just as angry as Joker and stared right back at him with her hairs slightly waving under the hot air that moved up from the chemicals to the platform they stood on.

Joker himself just threw his head back, knowing exactly what kind of conversation they'd be about to have. "I don't like being used, Joker!" She growled and didn't back off, not even winced as he gave her his most angry look. "And you just make a game out of my feelings for you!" She yelled but was shut up by him throwing his hands in the air.

"Feelings?!" A slight numbness caused by pure rage made its way through Joker's body and gave him a dangerous look. "That's obsession, nothing else, you pathetic fool! It's because you believe all the little lies I used to play with ya!" He actually thought she would've figured that out at some point so he was confused about so much stupidity of hers.

"You're a freak!" Harleen spit back in anger, her voice full of pain and sadness over his words but Joker just gave her a sarcastically astounded look. "Oh, you finally found out! What an accomplishment! Let me give you an award for this!" He clapped his hands during his second sentence and laughed as Harleen narrowed her glassy eyes.

"How can you do this to me?" Her voice broke and she sighed while Joker chuckled decisionally without an answer. "I love you, do you even understand that word?" She quietly asked but only received a snort.

"Well, I do not love ya, you should get that in your thick head, I'm not gonna explain this to you every other day, Harleen!" Joker turned around when the sudden sound of Harleen's heels on the metal floor of the platform made him look back at her in confusion.

"Maybe not now." Harleen looked down on the floor as she walked backwards towards the railing behind her. "If I'd kill Harleen and become like you, maybe..." She grabbed the railing and stared at Joker who frowned angrily. "Get back from there, Harleen, that's not one of your little playgrounds." He said and turned completely around to face her but she didn't look like she was paying any attention to his words.

"...maybe you'll love me then. And we can finally be together." She opened the small door of the railing with Joker taking a step towards her. "What the hell are you doing, you crazy girl?" He watched her walking back another two steps until she was standing on the edge of the platform.

"You already convinced me, you're not only insane but also stupid!" He growled, slightly confused about her action. "Good job, very funny, now get away from the freaking rail--" Joker was cut off as Harleen suddenly smiled in a crazy way and for a moment, Joker saw his reflection in her glasses.

"Maybe, some day, you'll love me." She let go of the railing and let herself fall down backwards without moving even a finger.

"Harleen!" Joker's eyes widened but he quickly pulled himself together, ripped off his silver suit jacket so he could move better and almost immediately jumped after her, knowing she wouldn't survive the chemicals and acid if she'd be down there for too long. 'Why always me?' He asked himself as he felt the hot, burning liquid hitting his face. 'Why do I always end up with the crazy chic?'
