Ginny looked up from her Charms essay with a skeptically-raised eyebrow, unsure if you were going to tell a joke or say something sweet and therefore apprehensive of your eager smile.

"I love you."

Ginny sighed and swatted your arm in annoyance, though still affectionately, as she replied;

"We've been dating for three years, Y/N. You'd better."

You waved your hand in an 'and?'  gesture and she leaned in and kissed your cheek, adding;

"Oh, you know I love you, too."
