Summer was a struggle for Harry for many reasons. Aside from having to live with his cruel aunt and uncle and his obnoxious cousin Dudley, it was three months of the year when he wasn't able to see you. You lived far away from Privet Drive, unfortunately, and he always missed you dearly during the longest holiday from Hogwarts. You never failed to write, though, and so almost every day, you exchanged letters. Often, his uncle would get frustrated by the number of letters arriving for Harry and so would try to keep your messages away from him, but the Boy Who Lived would, without doubt, find them easily, as Vernon Dursley was incessantly lazy and always tucked them under the doormat to 'hide' them.

One night, Harry was reading your latest letter by the light of a spell he was teaching himself, a more powerful variation of the lighting spell 'Lumos', and he smiled at your familiar handwriting.

Only one more week until he would see you again.

He could hardly wait.
