The hustle and bustle of Platform 9 3/4 was just as you remembered from your days enrolled in Hogwarts; the train's smoke, the chatter, the air of excitement mixed with the weight of the end of summer. You held your daughter's hand tight as you led your sons to the Hogwarts Express, your youngest boy heading to his first year now. Your daughter clung close to you as your husband said his goodbyes to James, who was clearly itching to go, then turned to Albus, who asked something that was clearly bothering him.

As they had a gentle heart-to-heart, you crouched by your daughter and smiled at her.

"Would you like to go to Fortescue's for ice cream after your brothers are on their way?"

She beamed and hugged you as she replied that she would like that very much, and when you stood again, you saw Harry hugging Albus as though he didn't want to let his son go. You smiled at the sweet sight, hoping that whatever this coming year would bring, joy would be ever-present with each and every member of your family.
