Bella and her best friend's parents were childhood best friends and they even lived together for a few years. They would play in the park almost every day. It was Mia (her best friend) who encouraged her to be herself and to stand her ground. She always felt like she let Mia down because when she was taken, all her hope, happiness and spark was gone. She really needed her best friend at times like those. They were more than just best friends.

Bella was originally going to be named Adelaide so it was Mia's nickname for her, Addy. She was the only person to call her that as a nickname.

They always had a dream: publish a book and movie together one day.
