Kristina turned around and walked away, ignoring Via's voice. "Just get lost you idiot!"

Via found Kristina in Miss Mae's office, curled up in a ball underneath her desk.

Via slid beside her, her knees touching Kristina's. "Please don't cry, Kris."

"Don't call me that."

"It's not what you think-"

"-It says 'Wife', Via! What the f*ck am I supposed to think?"

"I forgot to change it, that's all."

"What the héll does that even mean?"

"I got married a year ago. It was a spur of the moment thing. I thought she loved me but it was more like business to her. I knew we wouldn't work out so we talked things through and decided to get a divorce. It was finalised a month or so ago. We're still friends and honestly, we joke about it. So I forgot to change it", explained Via.

After a long pause, Kristina lifted her head up. "You got married? So suddenly? Why didn't you try and make it work?"

Via sighed. "Yeah. I don't know why, I guess... well I know, it was because I didn't love her. I tried to, I really did. But I couldn't love anyone. Not like... not like the way I loved you."

Kristina felt a sharp pain in her heart. The girl she had liked for such a long time, the girl she never got over, was saying what she wanted to hear.

"Look, Kristina... I know we're not together. But please don't push yourself so hard. You already are enough. You're more than enough", said Via.

Kristina felt tears form in her eyes. "Via... you need to promise me you'll give music another go."

Via shook her head. "Kristina, I can't-"

"-Yes you can. I know you're scared. You have every right to be. But the way your eyes light up when you sing. The way your smile shines brighter than a thousand suns whenever you nail a song you've been working so hard on. Via, those moments deserve to be shared."

Via was speechless. Kristina truly was one of the only people who understood her love of music.

"I can't do this. Not without you."

Kristina reached forward and held Via's hand. "You won't be doing it without me. Via... no one's ever gotten me the way you do. I don't want to lose you again."

"What are you saying?"

"Where do you live right now?"

"London. Why?"

"London? As in where my store is opening next week?", grinned Kristina.

Via's eyes widened. "Y-Yeah..."

Kristina smiled. "Then I guess I'll see you in London."

Via smiled and the pair looked around the room. "Miss Mae's office. A lot of memories here", smirked Kristina.

Via shoved her. "Hey, I know what you're thinking about."

Via studied Kristina's face. "It's not fair. You've always been pretty but you got to grow up hot "

Kristina laughed. "That's just how it works. I'm the hot one and you're the beautiful one."

"I don't know about beautif-"

Via was cut off by Kristina connecting their lips. She pulled away, but only enough so that their lips weren't touching. "I do."

As she reconnected their lips, Via finally gave in to her feelings and kissed back with a passion that Kristina had never felt from Via before.

As they pulled away for air, words escaped Via's lips in a long breath. "I love you so much, Kris..."

Kristina's eyes widened. She rested her forehead against Via's, trying to regain her breath whilst also get out what she wanted to say. "I love you more, Via..."

I don't want to write something too heated but this is Kristina & Via and they're grown adults who haven't seen each other for years so I'll leave the rest up to you guys.

I might write another one shot in the future. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a Wedding?
