Ever since Kurt and I met on that day we started talking each other even though he would always try and kick my seat or pull my hair again but for some reason i decided to stay with him no matter what.He introduced me to his sister the day she was born and i also met his family.I would go to his house and play with him when i had the chance.

Unfortunately playing was a foolish thing to do later on when we grew up,we were thirteen by the time we began to grow.Well he matured a lot faster than i did,due to his family always fighting and going through divorce.High-school began to get harder every year for me but not for Kurt,he didn't go to school after all those things happened. "April! So are you going to the party?"

A girl asked,she has dark green hair and baggy clothes."Um i don't know,you see i'm not the kind of girl who likes to party." I say with a little smile as i continued to write an essay. "Come on! It'll be fine besides your already fifteen"

tried to ignore her which was impossible but thank god that the bell rang,i grabbed my backpack and raced outside of school. "Finally you came back." I begin to make my way towards my room when Greg grabbed my arm making me scream in pain.

"Your mother is probably with another man so i need you to go and get me more booze."

"NO! Just let go of me."

I try my best to claw at him and kick him,but he grabbed a bottle of beer and smashed it against the floor, making it break into tiny pieces and he stabbed it into my leg and he punched me.

I started crying once Greg left the room.My Dad died in a car accident when i turned twelve and my mother was desperate for a man to help her.So she met this man at work and brought him home,ever since he lived here,he's been hitting me and mom my doesn't believe me.

I slowly made my way to the bathroom and wrapped my leg with a bandage and grabbed a pair of pants so no one can see the awful cut,a big bruise started to appear on my left cheek.I grabbed my backpack once again and headed to Kurt's house.

I knocked on the door and there stood Wendy,smoking a cigarette with her baby in her arms. "Hey April.Looking for Kurt?" I nodded my head so she stepped aside letting me in.

"He's up in his room a usual."

I walked past her and started making my way to his room.I gently knocked on him waiting for him to open "Kurt." I slowly opened the door and saw him sitting on his bed with his guitar while listening to Ramones.I closed the door behind me and stared at him,admiring how he's grown through out the years.

"April. What brings you here?" He stopped and looked at my brown eyes.

"I-i wanted to ask you a favor."

"Anything for my best friend."

So that's what i am to him? just a friend? I looked into his beautiful blue eyes and wanted so badly to just kiss him. "April." He waved a hand in front of me."H-huh? i-im sorry." I blush looking down at my knees.

Kurt lead me to sit on the bed next to him."Iwantyoutoletmesleephere!" I slowly look up at him.

"You want to sleep here?....I'm sorry but you can't."

"Why not? I mean i don't wanna sleep at my place cause..."

Kurt sat closer my me and saw my bruise "Did he do that to you?" I bit my lip and nodded my head.I guess he saw how i was walking cause he rolled up my jean and saw the bandage with blood stained on it.

"That's it."

He rose up from his place and was about to leave when i stopped him by grabbing his hand."No please don't go Kurt." I say with tears running down my face. His face no longer showed anger,he knelt down and wiped my tears away and kissed my forehead. "Alright then.But i promise to you if he ever lays a finger on you again..he'll regret it..cause no matter what i'll always be there to protect you."

I stared into his eyes feeling very happy and nervous around him mostly if im this close.I nodded my head and wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer.

That night i slept over at Kurt's house feeling a bit better with him around me,we both talked and he kept me close to him.I wish life was this easy just staying with the one you love forever.

"Come on,no one's home."

Kurt grabbed my hand and guided me to the kitchen and began looking for food.

"These assholes apparently ate the entire food." Kurt began to curse while trying to find something for us to eat. "How about we just head to the diner?"

"No way! Wendy might be there."

"Well if she is there don't look at her then."

He groaned and nodded his head "Your hair really is messy." I laugh as i reached and made it even messier.

"Come on.I'll take you."

Kurt got down on one knee "You sure you aren't going to fall with me on top of you?" I try my best to not laugh. "I'm sure,now get your ass up here." He says with a smile. He began to carry me down to the diner,we grabbed a spot to sit and a lady came with a menu for us. "What will you kids like?"

A familiar voice asked us.Wendy.I glanced up and saw her with another bruise on her cheek "Kurt what do yo-"

"Just coffee."

Kurt said not meeting my eyes as he smoked his cigarette."We'll have pancakes with eggs." I smile up at Wendy "Also coffee?"

"Yes please."

She wrote it down and walked away.I looked over to Kurt and smacked his hand making him drop the cigar.He glared at me but didn't say a word "Not in here Kurt." "Coffee would've been just fine." He mumbles making me look at him with a stern face "What?"

"You need to have a nice breakfast,Kurt." I look at him with a blank expression and he rolled his eyes giving up "All fucking right." He smirked looking at me.

"APRIL!!"

The door flew open and in came a girl with light blue hair.Kurt and I looked back surprised and saw her running towards us and took me by surprise once she sat next to Kurt pushing his away.

"Hey Iris."

Both of us mutter and Kurt tried his best to sit away from her "Hey Kurt!" She grins and grabs him and starts hugging him to death.

"So...guess what?"

"You're finally living town?" Kurt responds.

"Nope. I found another place where you can possibly give a concert. You know since you want to become a rock star."

"Hmm no thanks."

"Here you go." Wendy came in with our food and coffee."Okay then i'll leave you two lovebirds to eat.See ya." Kurt kept glaring at her and i couldn't help but giggle at both of them.
