Chapter thirty six
Slytherin Party
Goldie's POV:
Fred and I walked hand in hand to the Slytherin common room. I stared up at him as we walked. Fred looked at me and said "what?" "Nothing. You're just pretty." "I should be telling you that, Dee Dee." "You're a pretty boy, Freddie. And I'm admiring you." He chuckled and brought my hand to his lips, kissing it. His bracelet shined from the candlelight that lit the halls of the castle. Bubblegum was playing as we entered the common room. Alta and Yelena were slow dancing to the song, swaying back and forth. Fred went to approach the drink table and I pulled on his arm. "Want to dance?" I nodded up at him and he led me to the dance floor. I stared up at him once again as we swayed slowly. "I love you, Fred. I love you so much." To be honest Fred Weasley had my heart. I wanted him and only him. Fred's lips parted and he said "I love you too, Goldie." He kissed my forehead and I leaned my head on his chest. I felt his arms tighten around my waist as he leaned his head on top of mine. "I can't wait for you to come over this summer." He whispered. "Me too." I replied. Solid Gold Easy Action started and Fred pulled me to the drink table. George stood there, holding a shot glass out to his brother. I watched the two of them down about five to six shots of firewhiskey. George offered me a shot which I took. Fred continued to down them and I pulled my bottom lip in between my teeth, admiring how hot he looked. "Hey, Goldie." Blaise greeted as he walked by. "Hey." I replied. Fred glared at the Slytherin boy who was smirking. George patted his brother's shoulder and whispered something in his ear. Fred nodded and George took another shot before going to find Angelina. Ginny was currently drinking Hermione under the table. Hermione was a lightweight but was trying desperately to keep up with Ginny. Harry glared at Cedric who danced with Cho. Lee and Simone seemed to be closer lately but the twins hadn't questioned him about it yet. Werewolves of London began to play and Draco walked over to the drink table. I scooted closer to Fred and Draco scowled at me. I rolled my eyes at him and took a shot. Fred tugged on my arm and I quickly set my shot glass down. Fred led me to the dance floor and I could tell the firewhiskey was beginning to effect him. To my left, Draco and Blaise were singing the lyrics to the song, Draco howling extra loud. Rasmus was dancing with Pansy and the song changed to Ramalama (Bang Bang). I swayed my hips to the beat, Fred watching every move I made. His red hair fell into his face, his eyes half lidded. I leaned up to peck his lips and went back to dancing. Fred's hold on my hips got tighter and tighter. He went to say something but was distracted as Ron was pulled onto the dance floor by Lulu. Hermione stopped dancing with Ginny as Streets started. Lulu smirked down at Ron who was stiff and barley moved. Harry's eyes were wide and Ron was trying to get away. George walked over to Lulu and said something which gave Ron the opportunity to run. Hermione stood with her arms crossed and glared at Lulu. Fred quickly turned me around so my back was to his chest. I turned my head to look at him and he kissed my neck up and down, grinding his lower half against. I rapped the lyrics and Fred groaned softly into my ear. Caroline started and Alta started yelling. Yelena stared at her girlfriend in amazement as she chuckled. Alta knew all the lyrics to the song, Blaise joining in with her. Yelena looked Alta up and down, shaking her head. Fred looked over at Blaise and rolled his eyes. I turned around so I faced him now. I kissed his lips and Fred cupped my cheeks, deepening the kiss. I pulled away and free wrapped his arms around my waist. George and Angelina were currently sneaking out of the party. Fred shook his head and said "finally he's getting laid. He won't be in such a mood." I quirked an eyebrow and said "he's been moody?" "Yeah. A bit annoying really." Yelena walked to the table to get a drink and she got one for Alta, who was still screaming the lyrics to the song as it was coming to an end. Play Date began and Fred told me he was going to get a drink. I nodded and sat down in a chair to get my bearings as the firewhiskey was making everything hazy. Ginny was swaying back and forth gently to the music and I noticed Zora watching every move she made. Her eyes went up and down Ginny's body multiple times. Zora's attention then went to Hermione who giggled at something Ginny had said. Zora crossed one leg over the other as she sat at a table across the room. Her attention was pulled away from Hermione and Ginny as Adrian approached her. Then Lulu's voice entered my head.

"Goldie's such a slut. I can't believe her. What does Fred even see in her? What does she have that I don't? It doesn't make any sense."

My breathing began to pick up and all I wanted was for Fred to come back so I could tell him. But he'd be too drunk to hear me out. Lulu's voice continued, saying horrible things towards me. I put my head in my hands and pulled at my hair as pain began to spread through my head. The sickly sweet melody of Play Date rung in my ears as I wanted everything to stop. "Goldie?" Alta said. I looked up at her and said "she won't stop. I can hear everything she's thinking. She's saying awful things." The Buzz started and Alta pulled me away from everyone. "Goldie, what's wrong? Are you ok?" Lulu's voice stopped and I took deep breaths. "Goldie?" "I'm fine. Everything's ok." I said. Alta wasn't satisfied with my answer but let it slide. I quickly went to get a drink and downed it. Fred was nowhere to be seen and I did another shot. Draco must've been full of alcohol as he danced to the song, not caring how he looked. I was then being pulled to the dance floor by Fred. "Where were you?" I asked. "I had to take a leak. You alright, love?" Fred said as he cupped my cheek. I said "I'm ok." He nodded and the two of us began to dance as the best dropped before ending. Envy started and Yelena loosened up a bit as Alta danced in front of her. That song seemed to go by so quickly since I was beginning to feel really drunk. Fred had sobered up a little but not much. Amor Prohibido started and I hummed to the song. Miguel sung the lyrics to Dillie who was smiling really big at him. I looked up at Fred and said "can we go?" "Sure." He said. I didn't want to be around Lulu and the Slytherins much longer. I was quite thankful when Fred said we could go.

Alta's POV:
Gimme Gimme Gimme started and Yelena danced to the beat which I had never seen her dance as much as she was right now. Blaise egged her on along with Rasmus. She looked so hot as her body moved to the music. I bit my lip and stared at my girlfriend. I noticed Fred and Goldie leaving but they didn't look too drunk. I was glad Goldie was leaving since she seemed shaken up two songs ago. She'd tell me the next day I'm sure but wasn't going to tell me during this party. I danced with Yelena who's hands roamed my body as the disco song blared in the Slytherin common room. The song came to an end as 20 Min started. This would be the last song of the night. Lee danced like nobody was in the room and I wished the twins could see him. Ginny got one last drink before making it know she was going to dance like there was no tomorrow. Yelena drug me to the drink table and tried to sober me up a bit with some water. It helped a little bit since I was really feeling the firewhiskey. Once the song ended, everyone began leaving the Slytherin common room. Yelena and I headed back to the Hufflepuff dorms and as I walked in, I noticed Goldie and Fred in her bed. She was already undressed from the party and was in sleepwear. Fred had her on his chest as he snored softly. Yelena quirked an eyebrow and said "I was sure they'd have sex tonight." I hit her on the arm and said "Lena." "What? I was sure we would too." I shook my head and changed into something to sleep in. Yelena had left some of her clothes here and changed into them. I looked at Goldie again, making sure she was ok. "What's wrong?" Yelena asked. "Nothing. Goldie seemed a bit off tonight. I'll ask her about it later. I know he helps her a lot. So I'm going to let her sleep for now." I said. Yelena nodded and the two of us got into my bed, falling asleep immediately.
