Axca stood in the yellow lion as Lotor laid in the hangar on a bed as hunk offered to let him recovering with him. He was healed but he went back to being unconscious, Axca volunteered herself to stay with Lotor.

It was only ten minutes since and she heard Lotor groan again as his eyes slowly fluttered open as they were his normal yellow and indigo. He slowly turned his head to the side and saw Axca standing there as he recognized the walls of the yellow lion.

"Axca..?" He gulped with a dry throat and squinted his eyes a little.

"What happened?" Lotor rasped confused as she glanced at him.

"You better feel damn blessed for still breathing," Axca sent him a glare.

"Where's lance?" He asked frowning.

"He couldn't be here, hes having a really hard time facing you," she crossed her arms.

"But he's the reason you should feel blessed, he's the reason you still breathe," she sneered.

Lotor closed his eyes again with a soft sigh, he used his arm to sit up but stumbled to the side as he only had the one arm, Axca caught him as she saw the terror melting into Lotors eyes realizing his missing arm.

"W-what the bloody hell?" His jaw dropped and heart stopped.

"What happened!?" He grabbed axcas arm with a roar.

"You brought this upon yourself!" Axca roared back.

Lotor let go of her as he touched his elbow it ended as his breath got stuck in his throat, he felt around it feeling nauseous. He looked down and noticed there was nothing past his knee on one leg under the blanket. He lost two limbs. He can no longer walk. No longer hold his own blade. He was defenseless. He was crippled.

"Please tell me what happened," he whispered looking down.

"I don't know after you ejected us into space to kill voltron," Axca narrowed her eyes.

"I don't remember after... I entered the quintessences field after I did.. that..." Lotor closed his eyes.

"It was voices that where whispering but so many that it was so loud, and everything went dark," he nodded explaining.

"You take fault for everything before that?" Axca scrunched up her face in rage.

Lotor stayed silent. He didn't understand it himself.

"I don't understand why lance saved you," hunk walked in with a disappointed look.

"Paladin," Lotor looked up at him as hunk stayed far enough.

"He put in to much effort to keep you alive and still calls himself selfish," hunk glared at him.

"You better be on your knees begging him for forgiveness and thanking him," he sneered down at Lotor. He wasn't taken by surprise by hunks hostility, but it did hurt that this kind Paladin despised him now.

"Let me see him," Lotor bit his lip concerned.

"That's only if lance wants to see you, he's been through enough," Axca defended as hunk went to her side.

"I didn't hurt him did I?" He asked worried.

"No, Lance isn't injured," she nodded.

Lotor leaned back taking a deep breath, letting his consequences sink in, he covered his face with his one hand as he held his breath for a moment before exhaling again.

"You look different Axca," Lotor looked at her again as he had a flat expression.

"That's because it's been three deca phoebs," Axca narrowed his eyes.

"Three.." Lotor covered his mouth feeling nauseous.

"Actually been two weeks since the fight, but because of you going in and out of the quintessences field and us following you in and the explosion, that caused us to loose three years," Hunk cut in seeing the panic in Lotor.

"Three years of the universe thinking voltron is dead, that your dead, do you know how much destruction the universe is in now? There's no leader of the empire except warlords that split the empire," Axca nodded.

"This is all your fault," she spat with disappointment.

Lotor stayed silent as he didn't move, he felt like the shameful welp his father always told him he was, he was useless, he was powerless, he was good as dead to face his empire again. Everything he worked for was gone. Lance was gone.

"Leave," Lotor growled under his breath.

"Lotor-" "I said bloody leave!" He roared at them making hunk jump in fear as Axca was startled as well but there was no pity.

"Come Paladin," Axca put a hand on hunks shoulder as she led him out as hunk gulped a little.

"But what about Lotor?" Hunk whispered worried.

"He won't go anywhere, he couldn't if he tried," Axca hissed as Lotor heard her and closed his eyes with a sneer. He wouldn't cry over the lost of a damn battle, he has never shed a tear for his injuries, he wouldn't start now. He's only felt tears come from fear of loosing his love, even now he didn't feel that burning sensation. He was to enraged.

Everything was changing, he didn't remember enough to know what to feel, but all he knew was he wanted to see lance, even if he hated him, he just wanted to see him.
