Rivals since young schoolchildren, you and Bard had never really gotten along, having a sort of love-hate relationship as you grew older. In an irritating twist of fate, you were now forced to drive a barge together back and forth from Laketown to any port where you could buy wares and sell them at home just to make ends meet. You perched lazily atop the crow's nest, staring out into the fog as Bard steered the wide ship a few meters below. The water looked particularly icy out here today and so you shivered from your high roost. Bard noticed and smirked up at you.

"If I wanted to drown you, I would not do it here."

You rolled your eyes and turned your gaze back to the docks appearing out of the fog ahead.

"I suppose the spires of rock just before the waterway gate would be a better place?"

"Exactly."
