Chapter one
Naboo
Ryssa's POV:
I sat in my castle on Naboo, looking out at the forest. I sighed. I had just gotten news from Leia Organa. Poe Dameron had returned and that two stormtroopers had helped him escape the clutches of Kylo Ren. I was shocked that stormtroopers helped him. I had been meaning to write back but it'd been a few days. I had to protect my kingdom. And I could say that I was doing a good job. I looked down at the necklace around my neck. I held the stone between my fingers and a small smile tugged after my lips. "Queen Dartsen." A servant said. I turned to look at them and said "yes?" "There's some people here to see you." "Who are they?" I didn't need any more people in the kingdom coming to visit. Although I loved my people, they were beginning to stress me out. "He wouldn't give me his name. But he says he knows you. Or knew you." A small glimpse of hope filled my body. Maybe it was Ben, coming to find me after all these years. But then I remembered the temple. He probably met his fate. "I'll see them." I said. "They're waiting in the grand room." I nodded and sent the servant away. I placed my crown on my head and walked to the grand room, which was basically a large sitting room. "We need to go to the resistance." A male voice said. "Kid, this girl is gonna be the one to help us. We'll have the help of the resistance but how do you think we've been going all these years. From the help of Ryssa." Another male voice said. I walked into the room and said "one of you said you knew me. Who was it?" An older man turned around and I gasped. "Han Solo." I said. "Yeah, it's me." I looked to the people standing next to him. A girl and a boy. I watched the boy's eyes slightly widen at my makeup. "What brings you to Naboo? I haven't heard from you in years." Han sighed and said "I need your help with something. Is there somewhere you and I can talk in private?" I said "yes. I'm sorry to be so rude, I'm queen Ryssa Dartsen." The girl looked at me and said "I'm Rey." "Hello, Rey." "And I'm Finn." I nodded to him and said "are you a resistance fighter?" He looked at Rey and then looked at me. "Yes. I am." I could tell he was lying and maybe it was because of Rey. And I could sense a strong force presence from Rey. She looked to be about nineteen or twenty. "If you'll excuse me, Han and I need to talk about some things." Rey nodded and Han and I left the room. "So what's going on?" I said. "It's about Ben." I furrowed my eyebrows and said "what about him? I was heartbroken when I found out about the temple. It's sad that Ben didn't make it out." Now Han furrowed his eyebrows. "What're you talking about?" "Didn't Ben die at the temple?" "No. He made it out. He was one of the few that survived. And he's been gone for years. I need your help to bring him back. I found out where he might be. I just need you." Han said. "Why do you need me?" I asked. "Because. You were his only friend at the temple. When you left, to become queen, he cried for days. He became different. He closed himself off from everyone. And I think you could be the key." "The key to what?" "Bringing him back." "I haven't seen him in years. He never came to Naboo. Why?" Han sighed and said "you'll have to ask him that yourself. I need you to come with us. It's the only way. Leia and I have been dealing with losing him for a while. It's been hard on the both of us. You were someone that he never wanted to lose but did. You were taken away from him." "So, he's not dead?" "No." "Then where's he been? What happened?" Han wasn't telling me something. I desperately wanted him to say it but he wouldn't. "Like I said, you have to ask him yourself. So, will you come with us?" My kingdom was safe. We were not at war with the first order. Yes, Kylo Ren had it out for me, but he wouldn't dare show up to Naboo. The amount of firepower we have would destroy him. "Yes. Just let me get a few things. And I can't exactly go in a royal gown. Or the makeup." Han nodded and walked away. I went back to my bedroom, changing out of the royal gown I wore. I changed into something's more fitting for traveling. My outfit still looked like I was a queen but it wasn't a gown. It was slightly fancy. I took the crown off my head but kept my hair in the buns that were placed on the sides of my head. I removed the royal makeup and looked at myself in the mirror. Ever since I was queen I had to wear that makeup. There were days where I didn't take it off. It felt like it had been such a long time since I took it off. I grabbed my lightsaber, putting it in the holster of my pants. I walked back out to the grand room and Rey said "who's she?" She pointed at a picture of Padmé Amidala. "That's Padmé. She was one of the best queens Naboo ever had. Back in the days of the Sith and Republic." I said. "She was beautiful." Rey said. "Yeah. She was amazing. I wish I could've met her. I heard she was very kind." "We need to get a move on. There's someone I know who can help us." Han said. My brother walked into the room. "Going somewhere?" He said. I nodded to him and said "I am. There's some business that I need to attend to. Do you think you can watch over things while I'm gone?" Remus nodded and said "yeah." Rey's eyes flickered over to Remus's. "Gonna introduce me to your friends before you go?" "That's Han Solo." "Ben's dad?" "Yes. There's Finn. And that's Rey." Remus nodded to them and said "hello, Finn. Hello, Rey." Rey half smiled to Remus who gave her a smile. "Be careful." He said as he looked back at me. "I will." I kissed his cheek. Then our small group was on our way to the Millennium Falcon.

Kylo's POV:
"Have you felt it?" Snoke said. "Yes. It's strong." "This disturbance in the force is threatening." I didn't say anything. "There's been some news." "About?" "The queen. Of Naboo." I had kept tabs on Ryssa for years. I never once visited her or used the force to see into her mind. She was a distraction. I needed to end her. So she no longer kept me from the dark. "What news?" "She's leaving Naboo. With your father. Han Solo." "That means nothing to me." I said. "Get rid of the queen. She helps the resistance. With her help, they'd actually be able to take us down. Eliminate her." Snoke then disappeared. I left the room and went to my chambers. Ryssa Dartsen. Her name ran through my head. I promised her. I promised her that I'd go to Naboo. No. That part of me is gone. I'm apart of the dark side now. I must finish what Darth Vader started. And if Ryssa gets in my way. I'll destroy her.

This book will take place during all the sequels. Force Awakens is going to go by pretty quick. Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker will be the majority of this book. With a small part of post Rise of Skywalker. I hope you guys are ready for this.
