Canto Bight
Nephle's POV:
We arrived on Canto Bight. It had been a while since we had been there. "Nephle and Orell?" A male voice said. I turned around and said "you must be Finn?" He nodded and a girl stepped forward. "I'm Rose." She said. Orell nodded to her and said "hello, Rose." I looked to the orange and white droid on the ground. "That's BB-8." Rose said. "Where would we find a code breaker?" Finn asked. "The casino." I said. The four of us walked into the casino which was filled with people and other creatures. "Maz said he'd have a lapel or something." Finn said. I nodded and Orell nudged me. "Isn't he a code breaker?" He said. I looked to see who he was talking about. Sebastian Ziracch. "I don't know." I replied. "Well I figured you would. Since he's your old fling." Orell said. I rolled my eyes and said "he's not a fling." "Is he a code breaker?" Rose said. I shrugged and Finn had walked away to sightsee. Rose was hot on his tail. "Orell. Nephle. It's been so long since the two of rich returned." The voice of our father said. A few of the casino goers looked at our father, Janos Rodan in all his glory. "Father. We've been busy." I said. "Fighting for the resistance? There's no war here. The two of you should stay." He said. "Dad, there's war everywhere else. Even places like Naboo. The First Order must be stopped." Orell said. Dad shook his head and said "it's safer here. I can protect you here. When you go off to fight with them, I can't protect you. So if something happens to you, it's out of my hands." "Princess Rodan." Sebastian said as he walked over. I huffed and said "Sebastian." "Long time no see. What brings you back to Canto?" He asked. "A code breaker. The Resistance needs one." I said. My dad scoffed and said "it always seems like they need help." "You'd need help if the First Order was able to track you through light speed and you didn't have any fuel." Orell said. Sebastian furrowed his eyebrows and said "they're in trouble?" "Yes. And we came here for a code breaker. Nothing else." I said. Sebastian looked at my dad and then at me. "I could be your code breaker. I know how to." He said. Orell narrowed his eyes at him and said "no thanks." Dad looked to Finn and Rose who were getting arrested for parking their ship in the wrong place. Rose kicked and resisted the person who had grabbed her. "Let me go!" She said. Finn tried to get to Rose and I said "dad, you'll need to excuse us." I knew where they would take Rose and Finn. I walked away from my father and Sebastian said "let me help you." "Why?" I said. "Because. I deserve to make up for my actions. We were kids and I shouldn't of done that to you." He said. "You do understand we're going up against the First Order right?" I asked. He nodded and said "yes. I don't like the First Order as much as you do." Sebastian and I walked to where Finn and Rose would be held. Orell stayed back and kept my father busy but knew where to meet us. "Nephle." Rose said as I approached the cell. Finn stood up and walked over. "We'll get out on our ship. Leave yours behind." I said. Finn looked to Sebastian and said "who's that?" "He's going to be our code breaker. I know him and he's good for it. He'll do it." I said. Rose looked him up and down and said "you better." "I will. I assume you're a resistance fighter? You seem tough." Sebastian said. Rose shook her head and said "I'm just a mechanic. But I'd like to be." I opened the cell and Finn and Rose quickly stepped out of it. We began walking back outside and Rose stopped. "The fathiers." She said. I watched as she reached up to pet one. "We have to go." I said. Rose looked back at me and said "can we free them?" I thought about it. It would make a good distraction. I nodded and Orell met us. "What's happening?" He said. "She's setting them free. It'll be a good distraction." I said to him. He nodded and the fathiers began to run free, tearing into Canto Bight. Orell smiled a little and I said "dad's going to be pissed." He nodded and we all began to get a move on. BB-8 beeped and I turned around to see guards. "Let's go!" I said. We all began to run towards Orell's ship. We didn't stick around to see what would happen to us. The ship took off and Finn said "that was close." Rose nodded in agreement. "Back to the resistance we go." Orell said. Sebastian sat down and said "this is gonna be a breeze." I rolled my eyes at him and said "you would hope so." "I know so. We'll all be out of this jam in no time." He said. "Why are you so positive?" Orell said. "We need to have hope." Rose said. Sebastian smirked and said "now you have it." Rose rolled her eyes and said "sure."
