Chapter eleven
The birth of Kylo Ren
Ryssa's POV:
It was a shock that my parents had apologized to me. I never really blamed my dad but I always blamed my mom. I would probably sleep better tonight. I think I will. I took off the royal gown that I couldn't wait to get off. I just wanted to be in something relaxing. "It's happening again." Kylo said. My eyes widened and I said "can you see me?" "Obviously." He retorted. "Well, don't look. I'm trying to change." I said. A deep sigh left his lips and I turned to see him covering his face. I quickly put a nightgown on which was short. "You can look now." I said. He uncovered his face and I watched his eyes go up and down my body. "Can I ask you something?" His eyes went to the floor and he said "what?" "What happened? That made you want to turn to the dark side?" He sighed again. He sat down on my bed and I did the same. "You really wanna know?" I nodded. "It started after you left. I was upset that you left. It hurt. But I promised myself that I'd come see you. Snoke then revealed himself to me and I was informed about the dark side. But I wouldn't of turned if it hadn't of been for Luke." "Luke?" "Yes. The legendary Luke Skywalker. He tried to kill me one night. I woke up to him standing over me with his lightsaber ignited. The whole room was green. I couldn't believe he'd do it. I grabbed my lightsaber to shield myself. And I managed to incapacitate him. He screamed for me to stop but I didn't. Then I slayed the rest of the padawans. I killed them all. He tried to kill me. That's why I turned. That was the birth of Kylo Ren." Kylo stared at the ground. I couldn't believe what he was telling me. "Is it a lie?" I said. He shook his head and said "ask him when you see him." I could feel the sincerity in his body. He had never been this honest with me since we had reconnected or whatever. I scooted closer to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him. He stiffened up and I moved my arms to his torso. I felt his hand grab mine, holding it. I looked down at our hands, he wasn't wearing gloves. I felt him lean his head on top of mine. I squeezed him a little tighter and he wrapped his arm around me. "I'm sorry about Luke." I said. "It doesn't matter. You know the truth. That's what matters." He replied. He brought our clasped hands to his lips. I looked at him and nodded. He pressed a kiss to my hand and I half smiled. "How long do you think these force bonds last?" I asked. "I don't know. Ten, fifteen minutes?" He said. We were silent for a minute, just holding one another. I sat up a little and I watched him look at my lips. I leaned in, pressing my forehead to his. His hands rested on my arms. "Kiss me." Kylo said. A soft gasp left my lips and he said "please. Before the force bond breaks or someone comes in." "Ok." I said. I cupped his cheek and pressed my lips to his. Kylo's hold on my arms got tighter as our lips moved in sync. I pulled away just for him to kiss me again. I ran my hand through his hair and he pulled me into his lap. I was now straddling him. He pulled away and kissed my neck up and down. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him close as I could to me. I looked down at him as he pulled away. My heart thumped in my chest. I was terrified but happy at the same time. "I feel it too." Kylo said as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I played with the ends of his hair and he leaned up, kissing my lips again. The two of us pulled away from one another. Kylo traced shapes onto my thigh. I watched his fingers move across my skin, goosebumps arising. I looked at him to see his lips curl into a smirk and I pressed a kiss to his cheek. "Ryssa, you have a hologram!" Remus said as he knocked on the door. "I'll be there in a few minutes." I replied. Kylo was still in the room with me. I hugged him, holding him tightly. "I don't want you to leave." I said. He held me and said "I'll be back. I don't think this is is the end of the force bond." "Stay with me." I pleaded. He pulled away and said "I want to. I'll try to figure out this force bond thing. Maybe there's a way to make them last longer." "Ryssa!" Remus said. I turned to the door and said "I'm coming!" A soft chuckle came from Kylo and I turned back to face him. "I guess this is goodbye for now?" I asked. He nodded and said "I'd assume so." I hugged him again. A content sigh left his lips. Like the last time. I think he needed the contact. He was in dire need of it. And truth be told so was I. I climbed off his lap and sat next to him. "I'd better go." I said. He nodded again. I stood up and smoothed out my nightgown that had bunched up on my hips. I walked to the door, turning the knob. When I looked back at my bed, Kylo had gone.
