Intermission (2)
After the events of the last force bond, Ryssa was questioning everything. Deep down she still thought she could turn Kylo Ren. She was stressing about the resistance. She hadn't heard from them in a while. What she didn't know was that night, Snoke had opened a force bond between Kylo and Rey. When it happened Kylo immediately called for Ryssa which Rey quickly told him that it wasn't her. Rey could feel the conflict in Kylo. She thought for sure her and Ryssa could turn him back to the light side. But Rey was on Ahch-To with no way to communicate since she was training with Luke. Rey figured she'd just have to come to Naboo. But that wouldn't be for some time. She wanted to train some more. And possibly question Luke about why Ben would turn to the dark side. Ryssa didn't think she'd hear from the resistance but in fact, she would. Poe Dameron sent her a hologram message.

"Queen Dartsen, things are bad here. But I know Nephle is with you. And I know she's from Canto Bight. Is there any possibly way she and her brother could accompany Finn and Rose to Canto Bight? We need to find a code breaker to help us. He can disable the shields on the First Orders side and we'll be able to fight back. Is there any way you could have Nephle and Orell help us?"

Ryssa day with the two siblings that were natives to Canto Bight. Their father would know who the code breaker is. "Tell Poe that we'll meet them at Canto Bight. I don't want to risk traveling to the resistance just for the first order to blow us up." Nephle said. Orell nodded and said "I'm sure a code breaker would be in the casino." "Yes, that does make sense. But let them know. We're going to leave." Orell nodded and gathered their things. Nephle sighed and said "don't go chasing after Ben. But I shouldn't even tell you that because you probably will." Ryssa half smiled and said "there's been this force bond thing going on. But neither of us have been doing it. It's like a super strong connection and it happens at the most random times." Nephle furrowed her eyebrows and said "you can see him?" Ryssa nodded and Nephle said "can you touch him?" Ryssa nodded again and said "it's like a dream. But the most real, vivid, dream you could ever have. It's like he's in the room with me." "Is he?" Nephle asked. Ryssa shrugged and said "I don't know." "Nephle, I got the ship ready." Orell said. Nephle nodded and turned to her brother. "Ok, rabbit." Her brother smiled at the nickname she had always called him. She looked back at her best friend and said "be careful." "You do the same. You're going to Canto Bight with two resistance members." Ryssa said. Orell smirked a little and said "we'll be careful. Besides, Canto would be lost without us and our father." "I'm sure." Ryssa replied. The brother and sister headed off for Canto Bight as Ryssa informed Poe. Ryssa and her brother say adjacent from their parents. "Ryssa, I want to apologize. I should've looked out for you. I shouldn't of let your mother do what she did." Leo Dartsen said as he broke the silence. Anna Dartsen scoffed and said "I treated you the way I did so you would grow up strong. Ryssa, I do love you and always have. And I hate that you feel that way. I hate that you think I don't love you because I do." Ryssa stared at her mother, not sure what to believe. Remus looked at his father who said "and Remus, it was hard raising you two. When we had Ryssa the Empire was just destroyed a few years back. The Rebellion has destroyed them. Which was the big rumor. The Death Star has been destroyed just outside of Endor. And when we figured out Ryssa was force sensitive, we sent her to the Jedi temple. But you weren't. And I hate that you feel different because you're not force sensitive but I'm not either. Your mother was the one with all the force sensitivity." "Remus, I never should've treated you the way I did. The things that are happening throughout the galaxy terrify me. The First Order is vile and cruel. The Resistance needs to take them down. Or somebody does." Anna said. Ryssa took a breath and said "I'm working on that." "How?" Remus said. "I just am. I'm working with the resistance. Everything should be settled soon. I'm hoping." She said. Anna regretted how she treated her kids and it took her years to admit that she was wrong. Leo was the one to convince her that she was. He had that effect on people. That's what made Anna fall in love with him all those years ago. "Please don't judge my decisions. They're all for the greater good. You just have to trust me." Ryssa said. "We do. Don't worry about that." Anna said to her daughter.
