I Need You To Be There... For a little more than Always!

Part 82:

Aliya: Manik, just stop making this difficult. I m not letting u step out of here till u try this on!

Aliya said as she picked up the sherwani and pushed a grumpy Manik inside the changing room.

Two minutes later Manik came out and stood in front of her.

Manik: See I knew it would be perfect.... I trust u aliya!

Aliya walked around him looking for an flicks to be altered out before smiling broad,

Aliya: Perfect!! Now I m just left with ur shehra to prepare.

Manik rolled his eyes at her while he heard Cabir chuckle from the other side.

Manik: Now can I plz change, I hv an interview to give!

Aliya nodded at her and soon he got back in and changed. He walked back into the room 10 minutes later and smiled as he hugged Aliya.

Manik: Thanks aliya.... See u later!

Aliya: Bye! We'll be there to receive u guys at the airport...

Manik chuckled at her when Cabir said,

Cabir: U hv an interview! Lets go....

Soon Manik and Cabir were inside the car on their way to the studio where the interview was scheduled. He was a bit late, but then who cares, he was a celebrity, no one would say anything to him. As soon as they pulled up outside, Cabir said,

Cabir: U go ahead... I'll park the car and join u soon!

Manik nodded at him and moved inside greeted by the staff and the reporters out there. Since it was a proper interview, no cameras were on yet and none of the questions were being thrown at him. Before he knew they were onto the set, as the makeup man gave him a slight touch. He walked towards the center as he took a seat on the couch in front of the two hosts, who were gonna interview him.

The two of them greeted him, with the girl seeming to be quite a lot excited than the Guy. They named themselves Anchal and Sagar on being asked.

Soon they room was turned into hush while the camera's turned on when Manik noticed Cabir hanging out at the far corner leaning onto the wall. He smiled at Manik and then zoned back into his phone where Manik guessed he was msging Navya.

The hosts started with the show officially before the camera's turned towards Manik and he greeted the audience.

Sagar: So Manik, u and ur band hv been known for avoiding as much media interactions as u could. But then today u agreed for this Live Chat show, how come?

Manik: Well its not that we avoid it... We just like to keep our personal lives to ourselves. As much as our fans love us and wanna know about us, I guess we deserve something to ourselves as well.

Anchal: As u talk, u always do that in context to ur entire band, representing their word as well. But this is on record ur first time in front of Camera where u sit solo and not as a band. Does that mean for some differences between Fab5?

Just as that question finish they heard a loud chuckle from the darkness at the corner while Manik too laughed saying in between.

Manik: Wow u guys r amazing at getting ur bytes....

He calmed down a bit later as he replied to her question.

Manik: Fab5 is just a band for the world, but its Family for us. We r inseparable. Just bcoz I m here alone, or anyone of us chooses to do something separately won't get problems between us. And if u might turn ur camera's a bit, u will notice Cabir standing there in the corner laughing his guts out at ur question.

Both the hosts turned towards the direction Manik pointed at as a camera too was turned towards Cabir who greeted them all with a wave.

Anchal: Then any specific reason for u to be here alone?

Manik: Yeah.... There is!! But I would like u to finish off all ur prepared questions first before I get onto that....

With that the questions started pouring in about Fab5's international launch, further coming albums in the near future, plans, and all and all. Soon it shifted onto Dhruliya's married life, which Manik pity much avoided as it wasn't his place to say. After about half an hour of the continuous questions, they finally got onto something spice.

Sagar: And now, moving on over to the much talked yet the most secret topic!!! Ur love life...

Anchal: Yes, rightly said... Most secret! So, everyone knows that u hv someone in ur life, and a few pictures hv come up of the two of u, none of which actually showed onto her face. U hv been quite secretive about it, calling her as ur Shining Star! But then it is still a question about is it actually real....

Manik: Well I m not so sure about what u wanna ask me... But if u want a yes or no answer! Then its a YES...

Sagar: I m sure u r hurting a Million hearts by that...

Manik chuckled at them before he continued,

Manik: Well yes about being secretive... I guess now its the time to answer ur question about me being here alone.

Manik sighed at them, sitting up straight as he started.

Manik: I realised its high time that I come out clear about my relationship status and partner as well. Most of u guys, especially from the media hv met her before or at least seen her around, what u didn't know was that we were together. Where some of u calk her as Fab5's Band Manager, the others call her as my Secretary. Well, that's her.... Nandini!

The looks on both their faces were epic with the girl's mouth hung open and the guy completely stunned with the new information. While Manik simply chuckled and asked,

Manik: Have u heard of the RNA group of Hotels???

Sagar: Umn... The one based in L.A. and Vegas?? Yeah, they hv a 7 star hotel in Mumbai as well....

Manik: Do u know the owners?

Anchal: Rishab Moorthy and his brother Abhimanyu Thakur?

Manik: Exactly... But what people don't know is that they hv a sister as well, Nandini Moorthy, the daughter of Nandkishor Moorthy. RNA... The chain is named after the initials of their names. On one side where Rishab and Abhimanyu r known for their company, Nandini's identity was hidden from the family's as she is known world wide for being the youngest pop sensation singer that has ever been.... Nanz!!!

Anchal: Wait wait wait.... Nandini, Nanz... RNA group! Ur secretary??? I m confused.....

Manik chuckled at them as he nodded.

Manik: "Ohk let me start from the beginning. So Nandini who was known as Nanz, much like me kept her personal life quite hidden. She never wanted to use her father's name to gain success and thus, she kept her family background completely secret. We met around 5 years back, right after I finished off my college. We went for a trip in L.A. and Mukti being a die heart fan of Nanz, pulled us all along to meet her. From there we knew each other. Soon I returned and joined work after my father, which kinda affected Fab5's music a lot.

Around a year later, Nandini who had just finished off her MBA, called over me saying that she wanted to practise business which she couldn't do at her own company or country, coz ppl knew her Nanz.... So she left off everything, flew over here and joined the Malhotra Industries as my secretary. No one actually knew her real name, which kinda helped her. As time passed on it wouldn't be wrong to say that she kinda encouraged us with out first album, making us get back to Music, while she did what she wanted to, that is get into business and experience that."

Just as he said so a picture of Nandini was displayed over the screen. Actually, not hers but it was Nanz.

Manik: Ohh yes, that's her!! Though its quite an old picture, provided she was trying her best to keep a low profile all these years... U might not get any new picture of hers. Not that there is much change in her, she still looks like a cute Little Doll.

Anchal: Well, I m still taking it quite hard to take in the entire story coz I must say, u guys actually kept it all very secretive. But from a few times that I hv met her, I hv known her to be a very to the point, straight forward person professionally. What would u say about that?

Manik: Absolutely.... When it comes to work, no one could handle things the way she does and I personally hv grown to be habitual to her. I don't think I can function without her, be it for work, or for Fab5 or even personally. She has grown onto me....

Sagar: If we ask u to describe her in a line, then what would u say!

Manik smiled thoughtfully at their question as he rubbed the back of his neck.

Manik: Lets just say that she is a Beautiful Soul and her pretty face is just an added bonus for me!

Anchal: Aww.... That was cute!

Manik: Thank u... So yes that's it, no need for any more rumors or predictions about my love life, this was my entire story. Over the years Nandini and I got to know each other better. We started as being just acquaintances, to being friends, then to falling in love over the years and now here I am officially inviting to all to our Wedding this weekend!

A series of Whats, OMGs, Seriouslys were heard in front of the camera and behind it. The chaos created came to an end a minute later when Sagar asked,

Sagar: Are u serious?

Manik: Ohh yes... Its monday right? We r getting married this Saturday, the actual reason I asked for this interview today.

Sagar: I guess I just heard a heart breaking by my side...

Sagar said looking at his co-host as she shook her head in a No.

Anchal: Not breaking..... U just crashed it into a million pieces and I m sure its not just be, but almost the entire female population watching us live right now would agree to this.

Manik laughed off at it before they continued,

Sagar: So where is she now?

Manik: In L.A. with her family. In fact I m going straight to the airport from here, to surprise her by reaching there to get back. I just hope she doesn't wake up in the middle of the night to check her phone and gets the glimpse of this interview, otherwise my surprise will be ruined.

Sagar was about to say something at this when Anchal interrupted him.

Anchal: And finally ur fans get the first ever sight of the two of u.

Manik frowned at her as he asked,

Manik: What do u mean??

She passed on her phone to him as Manik saw her instagram opened with a picture uploaded hardly a minute ago, that too by none other than the username 'theGreat_Cabira'.

He scrolled down and read the caption,

Manik looked up to see Cabir smirking at him.

Anchal: As much I didn't want to say this.... U two look so cute together! Is that a recent picture??

Manik: Well yeah it seems recent but frankly I hv no idea when and where was this clicked. So I guess, u will hv to contact our personal Photographer Mr. Cabin Dhawan for that! He has this irritating habit of clicking us almost anytime and anywhere.....

Manik said sarcastically passing off her phone back.

Anchal: I guess I just shifted off my crush from u, over to him. So I wouldn't hear anything against him now!

Manik laughed at her words as he coughed,

Manik: Ohh sure but I hope u remember that he has been in a very serious relationship with Navya who is ur colleague here...

Anchal: Crap.... And dhruv's already married!!! I m doomed, I guess now I need to shift over my crushes to some actors instead of singers....

Abhi: We r here.... Lets just hope she is still sleeping by now!

Abhi said to Manik as the driver pulled into the Nanz Villa at around 7:30 in the morning.

Manik: I just can't wait to see her reaction....

Manik smiled broadly in excitement making Abhi shake his head.

Abhi: U carry on, I'll head straight to Moorthy Mansion to talk to Bhai, before he heads over to work.

Manik nodded at him as the car stopped and he rushed inside. He left his bag at the door itself to the servants as he moved up the stairs directly towards her room. He opened the door ever so slowly and entered the room to sigh a relief as he found Nandini sleeping peacefully snuggling into the covers. He walked closer towards her as he removed his shoes and draped his coat on the chair.

He got inside the covers softly enough and moved closer to her, wrapping his arm around her waist as he pulled her closer to his chest. He felt her taking a deep breath into his arms before small smile crept over her face, making him stunned. She even knew his scent.

Manik looked over to find her wearing one of his Tshirts along with a pair of shorts, making him smile at her cuteness. He dug his face into the crook of her neck, allowing all her hair fall onto his face as he closed his eyes and sleep took over to him almost instantly.

Nandini woke up about half an hour later, snuggling further into her soft covers only to realise a hard chest pressed along with hers. She opened up her eyes to find herself caged into his body, and she immediately knew who was it. She lifted up her head to see him sleeping peacefully, but then she was too excited to care about it as she threw herself completely over him.

Manik opened up his eyes at the sudden weight over him when he heard Nandini muttering,

Nandini: I love u, I love u, I love u.....

Nandini felt his chest vibrate before a chuckle escaped his mouth.

Manik: I love u too....

Nandini moved a bit up, so that she was now straddling him, sitting on his stomach.

Nandini: When did u come? How did u come? Why didn't u tell me before? Why didn't u wake me up? I didn't even know tha-

Her series of questions came to an abrupt end as Manik held her neck and pulled her back come pressing his lips over to hers.

Her throat dried up.

She whimpered as he completely covered her mouth with his, pulling her further closer. She could feel every part of her body turning into jelly. He darted his tongue, coaxing her to open up for him. When she did, he swept his tongue right inside her mouth, ravishing her hungrily.

Her hands moved to the back of his neck as she clutched his hair pulling him further closer if possible, giving him the permission to kiss her senselessly.

She moaned at the sensation making him groan as he deepened the kiss furthermore.

None of the two wanted to break the kiss but still got their lips apart to breath. Nandini fell over him, resting her head right next to his as the two of them tried to calm down their fast breathing.

As they got normal, Manik placed a feather soft kiss over her neck as he whispered,

Manik: Now this is a kind of morning, I expect for the rest of my life!

Nandini blushed hard, not that he could see it, but she tightened her grip around his neck.

Manik: Gosh I missed u!!

Nandini: I missed u too.....

Manik: But not anymore.... I m here to take u back, and this time I m never letting u go ever! Not even if u want to....

Nandini chuckled at his words as she pulled away, getting off him.

Nandini: I don't even want to...

A soft smile crept over Manik's face before a yawn making Nandini chuckle again as she bent closer to him.

Nandini: Get some sleep, this is jet lag... Its night in India!! I'll wake u up a few hours later...

She placed a soft kiss onto his forehead before moving apart as she padded towards the washroom to freshen up. 10 minutes later, she walked back in, only to find him sound asleep. Nandini picked up her phone from the bedside along with his as well, not wanting to disturb him, as she slowly left the room.

And now a question, How many of u actually want some full on steamy romance between Manan.... Coz even though the story has progressed this much, I hv avoided it. The only reason being that I hv never truly written anything of that sort! But still I could try....
