Liam's POV

It was a normal day, and I had to go into the studio. I quietly sneaked out of bed, making sure not to wake up Lexi. She hadn't been feeling the greatest, so I wanted her to get as much rest as she possibly could. I came out of the shower, got dressed, and headed down to make myself breakfast. While doing that, my lovely wife came downstairs, with her adorable bed-head. It was things like this that made me fall in love with her all over again. 

I took one look at the clock and realized that if I didn't hurry, I was going to be late. Lexi kissed me good bye, and I practically ran out the door. 

"Hey all, I'm here," I was breathing hard as I ran into the studio, pausing for a moment to catch my breath.

"No sweat, Li. Lou isn't here yet," Niall reassured me. He was the most easy-going of the band, and he usually let things like this slide. As if on cue, Louis walked in, in that fabulous way that we all secretly love.

"The party can start now!" he cheered. 

After giving the usual round of bro-hugs, we sat down and began some serious writing. Or, at least, we tried to, anyway. About five minutes into the writing pow-wow, if that's what it could be called, my phone rang.

"My heart, your heart, sit tight like book ends, pages between us, written with no end" 

Yes, my ringtone for when my wife was calling me was my solo from Strong. The song itself represented how strong our love was for each other and the dedication we both put into it. It was worth it.

"Hello?" I answered. Usually my wife never called me while I was at the studio. Something must be up.

"Put yourself on speakerphone," she instructed. Okay, this must've been important. She wants the band to hear it.

"Lads, hush, you're going on speakerphone," I hissed to the other three nutcases.

"Guys, I'm pregnant!" she exclaimed through the phone, and my jaw dropped while the other three cheered.

"That's, that's wonderful babe! Now we know why you've been a bit under the weather lately," I grinned.

"Yep!" she answered cheerfully.

"So, as much as I'd love to just come home and spend the day with you, cuddling and whatnot, I've got to get back to writing. Knowing these crazies, it'll take a while to write a song or two," I added that last part with a chuckle.

"Okay. Have fun! I'll see you when you come home," she said.

"Have a good day," I wished her before hanging up.

"So," I said, turning to Harry, Louis, and Niall.

"You're going to be a father!!!!" Niall exclaimed, his Irish accent showing really strongly.

"Congratulations, mate," Harry clapped me on the back.

Louis just went in for the hug.

"OH MY GOSH! Can I dress the little one? You HAVE to tell me the gender!" he squealed.

"Sure, Lou. Whatever makes you happy," I chuckled at how silly these lads were.
