We see a man with pages of overdue bills and denied loans on his desk. His head was face down, resting on his desk he wore a purple vest and blue jeans, with messy brown hair and pale skin. He is shaken awake by a woman with long orange hair and peachy skin, wearing a green T-shirt and brown skirt.

Clara: Honey. Wake up... William!

William opens his eyes, groaning softly.

William: sorry... D-did I fall asleep...?

Clara: again.

William looks at the papers on the desk.

William: sorry...

He sighs.

William: I just don't know how we're going to keep up on all this.

Clara: honey... I'm sorry your dream isn't working out like you had hoped.

William: it's alright honey... it's just a road bump. We can get past this...

Clara: well, a letter came in the mail for you.

William: let me guess, another overdue bill.

Clara: no actually. The packaging is a bit different, but then again, I don't know how that kinda thing works, so it might be another.

William takes the latter and immediately recognizes it being the kind of envelope you would get at a gift shop. He opens in and pulls out a letter.

Dear William Afton

Hello. My name is Max Benson. I am the owner of Cogs and Coils Inc. I noticed your restaurant the other day, and I stopped by to take a look at the place. It was entertaining, and might I add had some good food. I thought to myself of what potential the location had, but couldn't help but notice the state the place seemed to be in. I've seen many businesses failing in my lifetime, and i can tell you're hitting a rocky patch. I was hoping to contact you on the possibility of my company purchasing the rights to your characters, and making them my own. I am willing to negotiate prices over the phone, but was thinking around $10,000. If you would like to discuss anything further, feel free to give me a call at ###-####. Thank you.

Max Benson

William was shocked with what he read. The thought of selling Fredbear seemed insane. But. For that much money... William was left to think. He pulls his flip phone from his pocket, thinking over the deal presented to him. He dials the number.

William:... h-hello? Is this Max Benson? Hi this is William Afton. I hope this isn't a bad time, I only got your letter just now... ok good.

After a while of talking, a deal was made. After some documents were signed, William got his money and Max got his copyright over the characters. William threw out the piece of paper, and went on with his life. Living happily with his family. After a while, the letter ended up in a landfill. Right next to an identical piece of paper, with identical writing. There was but one difference. One, addressed to William Afton. The other? Henry Emily.
