Avery's pov 

I was walking down to the school's library with my books on my right hand close to my chest i decided to read a bit today since its been a habit of mine since i was young. 

Its been two days since the incident with that troll and Hermione so i also decided when im finish reading ill go looking for them and just talk for a bit. I arrived to the library and sat down on a small couch by the corner with a dim light from the lamp,i opened my book its one a found yesterday here when no one was looking. 

I began reading it and i found out that this book has every secret passage way in Hogwarts,all the students from the precious years and at the very end of the book was filled with different spells i haven't heard of yet and there's one thing called the sorcerers stone i wonder what that is. 

"Oi Helling what are you doing?" That voice again.

"What do you want Malfoy?" I asked as i closed my book and looked up at his blue eyes.he smirked and crossed his arms as Crabbe and Goyle were right behind him like always. 

"Going back to our second name?" I growled on the inside. "You're the one who started it." I sid back to him.

"Whatever so did you finally come to your senses to finally join me and my group." I stayed silent for a few minutes and got up.

"No thanks besides im running late for uh something."  I said as i quickly grabbed my thing and headed down to the main hall to find the golden trio as Malfoy says it.

"Hey guys i finally found you."  I smiled as i approached them but Ron looked a bit taken back and scared? I furrowed my brows in confusion as non of them replied to me. 

"Whats going on guys?" Hermione and Ron looked back at Harry as Harry gulped and stood up looking a bit hesitant. 

"Look Avery im thankful for everything you've done for us but we cant see each other anymore. " he said slowly. I looked at Hermione as she spoke.

"Avery really im thankful that you saved me but this cant work because- "

"Im a Gryffindor and your a Slytherin they cant be friends were rivals." Harry said as Ron nodded.

I looked at them angry. "Okay fine if that's what you want then fine ill be the Slytherin that everyone expect me to be and treat others." I said angry as i stomped out of the main hall.

"Draco!" I called out when i saw him walking down the hall probably to the Slytherin common room he stopped and turned around to face me.

"Well well isn't it little Helling what brings you here now." Good thing he was alone right without those two oafs. 

"Draco i want to join you,i want to be and act like the Slytherin i am proud of." I spoke basically pleading him.

He smirked and grabbed the sleeve to my robe as we walked together down the Slytherin common room.
