I was in bed rest for a week, until my stomach wound has healed a bit more.

I was stuck to also eating my meals as a smoothie (Lucifer's steak and mashed potato smoothies are actually not that bad).

I looked at the pentagram i kept around my neck.

To think, all this began when i gave this to Kuza 8 years ago.

I then began remembering Valora's words.

"It’s the symbol of unity and love between you and Kuza. A life symbol."

"Keep it with you as long as you and Kuza live."

Life symbol. As long as me and Kuza live.

Sounded a lot like forever. Something Kuza has, but i don't.

Kuza is immortal, and I'm just going to be old.

Forever can't be for us.

Unless....

No, I can't. Kuza will refuse. 

Especially after all that's happened. He's already refused it once, and he still would.

But... Do i really want to??

It was then Kuza walked in with a bottle of water.

"Hey," he asid, closing the door as he walked in.

"Hi," i said, as i clutched to the pentagram.

He sat down and immediatly he had a small frown  on his face as he saw me.

"What are you thinking??" he asked.

I gulped, ready to tell him.

"I saw Valora," i said.

He looked at me, his eyes widen as i held up the amulet.

"She told me this was our symbol of life and unity, to keep it as long as we live," i said, apparently sounding sad.

"And why are you sad about that??" he asked, confusion flashing across his face.

"As long as we live?? Kuza, I can't ive forever like you can. Our forever is only temporary," i said.

I can ssee him gulp. "So, what do mean??" he asked.

I look up at him.

"I want to live forever, with you," i said.

It took a while for him to process and he shakes his head.

"No. I won't do it. I can't risk that, Jade," he said, starting to pace around the room.

I take hold of his wrist and he loks at me.

"Kuza, please. I want to spend my life with you, without the fact of knowing i have an expiration date. You'll be young forever and beautiful, i'll grow old and die," i said.

He looks down, but i pull his face towards mine.

"Jade, you just don't understand. I lost everything becoming what i am," he said. "Turning you could also mean loosing you, something that nearly happened," hesaid.

I lean over and kissed him.

"Please. Its all i am asking from you," i said.

He sighs, holidng my hand over his cheek.

"Do i mean so much to you, Jade, that you would give up your humanity to spend and eternity as a demon??" he asked, looking at me with fear in his eyes.

It seemed like a difficult decision. But I knew i was going to die sooner or later. Like right now, after all that's happened, i could have died. 

I love Kuza more than i can take. The day i die will be like when he lost Valora.

I would live forever if i were a demon. I'd be stronger, faster, and i would be immortal. I loved Kuza, and the 

I nod. "Yes. You mean so much. I want forever to mean it for us," i said. 

He sighs, loking down, as if thinking mroe about it before looking back up.

"Alright, i will," he said.

I lean p and kiss him softly and he kisses me back before lying down.

He then walks across the room, and grabs a towel from a dresser.

"Here, to bite down on. It seems weird, but we shouldn't worry anyone.

"No, no, you're right," i said, taking the towel. "So, how does this work??"

"Its just a bite. Like a vampire, but without taking blood. More like a snake bite," he said.

I nodded.

It was then he sits by my side, his canines protruding from his mouth and his eyes going their usual white.

"Are you ready??" he asked in a soft growl, as if talking like a demon.

I gulped, and nodded, closing my eyes.

I can feel him tilting my head back as he leaned in. I can feel his lips kiss my neck softly.

"I love you, Jade," he said, and then he burries his fangs into my neck.

The pain was unbearable and i can feel myself about to scream, but he quickly had put the towel over my mouth, making my scream sound muffled.

I tried to fight as he held my arms down.

It felt like a knife dipped in acid being slid across my neck.

After who knows how long i felt this kept, i felt everything fading to black until i saw nothing.
