~Mount Justice~

Honey's POV
"I want you to infiltrate the base of Inertia, the evil clone of Impulse. The Justice League will be going with you."
"They will?!"
"Yes we will." Miss Martian replied amused.

Birdie's POV
The door was knocked down by the Flash and we all went inside.
"W-who are you?" A boy peeked his head out.
"David?! Robert?!" Lucy said shocked. I looked over at her.
"Lucy?!" The boy named David asked wide eyed.
"Where's Inertia?" Flash said getting irritated.
"Who?" David asked. Robert looked down at the floor.
"He's a villain." He said to David.
"Well then do you know who Ted Thawne?"
"Yeah. He's my father."
"Where did he go?" Robert and the boy named David pointed to the back of the dingy apartment and the Flash ran off.
"I don't understand? What's going on?" David asked us. We all looked at him confused. How could he not know about his father being a villain? And how did Lucy know David?

Flash's POV⚡️
"INERTIA!" I shout spotting my evil clone.
"Ah! Impulse! How nice to see you!"
"It's Flash now, but that's not the point. What are you doing?"
"Waiting for you. You see I've planted a bomb in this fine city."
"Sounds more like a plan Joker would do."
"Well that old psychopath is in jail so."
"Let's just get this over with!"
"Sure. If you can catch me!" Inertia says speeding off. I sped after him and we zipped around each other for ten minutes until he started punching me so fast that I couldn't get up. A flash of green sped by and it was that kid and Robert.
"Ah! Why are did you speed us here!" Robert shouted.
"Dad!! Stop, please!!" The kid begged Inertia grabbing his arm, ignoring Robert's question. Inertia pushed his son off and took out a gun and pointed it at Robert.
"Dad... don't do this... please!"
"You are nothing but a pain in my side, David! You're so gullible!! Just like your mother!"
"You... you were there?" He said in disbelief. I looked at him... what did Inertia do?

~Later, Mount Justice~

Birdie's POV
"So what do you think? Would you two like to join The Team?" Miss Martian asked. Robert and David glanced at each other.
"We'll do it." Robert said smiling. David was quiet, curled in a ball, leaning against the wall.
"Hey you ok? I heard your dad said something about your mom? What happened?" I ask sitting next to him.
"I... I don't really want to talk about it... if you don't mind..." I nod leaving the room.

~Seven Weeks Later~

"Team! I'd like you to meet someone! This is Tula Ahum. Your new teammate."
