Used to being the outcast, he can seem rude and cruel at first. If you get to know him, though, you'll find that he has a slighter softer side. He is rarely nice though, unless his sister is around to balance him out.

He's often blunt and uncaring, and if he finds himself willing to expend the effort, will gladly partake in any fight. If you talk with with him, be prepared, because he doesn't always care about how others feel.

However... Akira knows that his sister loves basically everyone, and that she hates it when he's rude, so he does try to be kind. He'll offer to help, though he'll be grumbling the whole time, and he really does enjoy company, despite what he might say.

He and his sister can fuse together to form the PhantomAngel, a being of immense power and perfect balance. This is rare, though, because they both need to be in their Total Forms, and Zia usually tries to get Akira to calm down before he can get there.

His greatest weakness is gold, especially when bound around him in any way. When his wings are bound, or he's legitimately trapped somehow, he becomes weak and is rendered practically useless, though he can still be dangerous while he's in a panic. Being away from his sister for too long can also have a negative effect on him.
