Lyra's POV:
I rushed to Clyde's room, the automated voice still going on. I opened his bedroom door and he was already awake, holding a baseball bat. I sighed at him and he stood up. "Mom, you ok?" I nodded and said "yeah. Get dressed. We'll have to move soon." Clyde went to his closet and went to get dressed. I went back to Billy and i's bedroom and there was knocking on our door. Hawk ran in with Halo as I opened the door. "You guys have the biggest room so we came here." Hawk said. Halo's metal rod slid out of her hand and she said "they're everywhere." Blaze came in with Call and Newt. "Where's Ripley?" I said. Newt gulped and said "she went to go fight them." Calypso, David, Maia and Connor came in and before I knew it, everyone was in our room. Blaze looked out the window and said "there's spores out there." "They had the fucking plants?" Billy said. Blaze shrugged and Clyde said "what plants?" "The ones that kill you." I replied. "Call, do a scan and see how many plants ruptured and do it now." Billy walked into the bedroom and Orion said "you ok?" I nodded and said "I'm fine." Call plugged a cord into her arm and a low humming sound was heard. "Scanning. Scanning." Her voice was on the intercom. Max sat down with Clyde and Connor stood next to Blaze, looking out the window. "Four plants ruptured. Spores on level 10: sleeping quarters. Level 12, level 8, and level 16. Spores continuing to travel through ventilation shafts. No spores in the cargo bay. Repeat: no spores in the cargo bay. No spores near escape pods and near life boats." She unplugged the cord from her arm and huffed. A small hole laid on her arm and it quickly closed back up. Newt opened the door as Ripley came back in with masks. "I went to the supply chest and got some masks. I took them all since I couldn't count everyone." She said. Billy came back into the living room and told everyone to listen up. "Our main objective is to get to the cargo bay where the ships are, get on an escape pod and get to earth. I can't believe this is my third fucking time dealing with these aliens. I want all of you to know, it won't be easy. Now that the spores are a huge problem, we'll have some obstacles along the way. As long as everyone keeps their masks on while we're on the infected levels and shoots anything that moves, we'll make it." Billy said. Everyone grabbed a mask from Ripley and Billy said "max I want you close to me. "Billy, I'm not a little girl anymore. I'm an expert shooter cause of Lyra. You don't need to worry about me. I'm good. I promise." Zane put his mask on and Max did the same. David did not take a mask because he didn't need it. Connor tried to do the same but Calypso scolded him and made him put one on. Her kids were half human, the spores could easily kill them. I walked over to Clyde and said "put this on for me? Over your hat?" He nodded and pulled it on his face, pushing the button so fresh air would fill the mask. "Mom?" "Yeah?" "Are you scared?" I thought about it. Yes the Xenomorphs did scare me and yes this was going to be my third time going through this so I shouldn't be scared but I was. Because before I didn't have a child to worry about. "Yes. I am. You're the most important thing in the universe to me and I don't want to lose you." I said. Clyde smiled and said "you won't lose me. I have two badasses for parents." I chuckled and put my mask on. Billy checked everyone's masks and made sure they were on correctly. He checked Clyde and I twice. Billy stepped out first, followed by Blaze behind him and I was behind Blaze. Clyde was behind me and Max was behind him. We had to go down to the bottom level where the cargo bay was. We were on level 10. Billy looked at the map and said "12 is contaminated and so is 8 and 16. Let's try to go up and around. I'm not sure we wanna go through 12 and 16." "Are you sure that's a good idea?" Cat asked. Billy nodded and said "I think that's best." We did Billy's plan and began to go up and around. We hadn't encountered any Xeno's yet but it's still pretty early. There was a hallway that was dark, Billy stopped us before going down it. He grabbed a flashlight and a hissing sound was heard. "Stay quiet." He whispered. Max got next to me and aimed her gun down the hall. "I see it." She whispered. Billy looked at her and nodded. Max pulled the trigger and screeching was heard. Billy and I went to investigate and there laid a dead Xenomorph. Clyde ran over and gasped as he looked at it. It's yellow blood ate away at the floor like acid. "Can it's blood hurt you?" Clyde asked. Blaze walked over and lifted his shirt sleeve, revealing his scar on his arm. "See that? That's from blood getting on my arm. It burns so bad. It's excruciating pain." Clyde grabbed his knife and stabbed the Xeno in the head, pulling the knife out of its head. The sizzling acidic blood dripped onto the floor and Clyde watched the metal floor wither away like it was nothing. The Xenomorph's body ended up falling through the floor cause of the blood eating it away. "Oh my god." I said. Spores erupted out of the hole in the floor. "Run!" Billy yelled, grabbing Clyde's hand and running. Max jumped over the hole and Halo did the same. Hawk ran past me and Blaze said "Lyra, we gotta go!" We all ran and quickly made it to level 9. "Are we safe here?" Bullet said. "For now." David replied.

Here's the update! I'm going to try to update this more and finish this book cause this series has been going on forever and I just want to finish it
