she's always kept to herself, even when she was little. she's a lot more introverted than most and only becomes "loud" when around close friends. she's very kindhearted and loyal towards her friends and would do anything for them. before anything else is an observer. she enjoys taking a seat back and watching as her life unfolds in front of her. this can sometimes be bad though because tends to never participate in her own life as she's too busy watching everyone else's. she's always too busy caring about someone else rather than herself.

backstory.
lyra was the result of an accidental pregnancy when her mom was in college at 19. because of this her mom dropped out of college and began working at a coffee shop.  luckily the father stayed around and got them a small apartment on tybee island. everything was great after lyra was born. they all stayed in that small apartment and by the time she was 3 her parents got married and she was the flower girl, of course. about a year later her mother became pregnant again, this time it was a boy. her father was over the moon about it and he couldn't wait for him to be born. the pregnancy goes by as normal as it could and by the end of the nine months benji was born. lyra loved him more than anything and she immediately wanted to do everything and take care of him.

after a couple nights in the hospital the family went home. everything was perfectly normal as lyra went to bed that night, but as she awoke in the morning she discovered her dad was missing. she woke her mom up and they started looking for him in his normal places and favorite places on the island, but he wasn't found. they reported him missing, but never heard anything from him.

so then after lyra turned 10 and benji was five their mother moved them to savannah georgia. they got a slightly bigger apartment that allowed for them each to have their own rooms. her mother was promoted over her time working for the coffee shop and they allowed her to open another one of the same branch in savannah. and they've lived here ever since.
