Emily's pov

Today i was walking down the streets of Owatonna it was november of 2006 it was really cold like always i was listening to music on my iPhone when i reached what seemed like a factory i was walking to pick up some grocerys of course i had a car but i decided to take at least a walk today i was about to enter the super market when someone caught my eye.

it was a guy maybe my age or a year older he has dark brown staright hair.light brown eyes and he was loading some coca cola inside the market with some workers i stopped there and pretended to notlook at him as he took a glance to see me i smiled to myself as my hair hid my smile i forgot to mention that i was also here with my dog galaxy.

and then the unexpected happened galaxy began to bark and he escaped from my grip of the leash.

galaxy!!" i screamed as he ran towards the guy i was wacthing this is going to be so embaressing i thought to myslef as i saw him lift galaxy up i approched to him.

"i-i guess this is yours" said the guy as he held galaxy and halaxy licked his face he began to laugh as i also.

"t-thank you so much i dont know what i would do without him" i said as he handed me my dog he smiled.

"well thank you so much..um" i said asking him his name.

"oh A-Adam Randel Young" he said as he shook his hand with mine.

"Emily Vanessa Hadley" i responded shyly why do i have to be so shy

"Emily. its a beautiful name" adam said as i smiled.

"thank you i also like your name" i said as we smiled and fell into an awkward moment.

"well i uh have to buy some grocerys so ill see you later adam" i said shyley as i beagn to make some hand moves while talking.

"oh okay see you later i guess" he said smiled and waved goodbye as i approached the grocerys door.

"why do i always have to be stupid i posibly had the chance to talk to a cute guy and i messed it up" i said to myself conplaing as i began to pick some food

Adam's pov

"alright thats the last one" said a guy who worked in the grocerys store he paid me and soon i began to drive back to the factory as my mind went in the girl i met Isabelle was her name im glad i met her even though i didnt talked to much to her cause im very shy i wish i can see her again.

although i doubt that ill see her again and and if i do i really sont think that she will go out with me the besides the one friends ive had are andy and Anthony Johnson weve been friends since high school and we would always go skateboarding still do but only when i have free time.

i live with my parents Joan and Randel Young i am an only child i spend the rest of my days in the basement writing some sings cause i wanna make music well i do but i want people to hear more music about me i suffer with insomnia which sometimes i cant sleep and it bothers me so when i cant sleep i just walk to the basement and write some more lyrics....i really want to see that girl again even if its just for one last time.

Emily's pov

"finally i made it" i exclaimed as i arrived home with the grocery's and with galaxy in one hand and i fell on the sofa as i tried to get if some snow in me.

"im so tired" i said to myself staring at the ceiling than my mind went into adam.

"adam young.. i want to see him again he looks like a really sweet guy dont you think"i asked galaxy who looked at me and barked.

"yeah i can see that you liked him too i should've asked for his number or something" i said as i stood up and began to organize the kitchen and started to fill the fridge with food.

i ate dinner and went to take a shower i dried my hair and i laid down on the bed and galaxy was already sleeping i just laid there as my mind couldn't forget about Adam i looked at my window and saw that the sky was full of stars with the moon shining brightly.

"i hope i see you again adam" i said as i looked at the sky.
