Howdy ho my children!

Sooo.... took quite some time and am a bit last-minute on this one, but for this drawing, I stole Yasse from the wonderfull floof-hobbit Mithiell!
Um... I desperately have been wanting to draw her characters for ages now, since they all look SO DARN FREAKIN AWESOME. And with the contest from MasterBlaze having "draw another watty persons character" as the topic, I thought that the deadline would hopefully help me, to finally get that done QwQ

And apparently it did! So be prepared for the fun ride :D

As always, I doodled some random poses, knowing that I wanted ot go with something relaxed, it wasn't all too hard, and through Miths references I just went with the hot beverage thing.

Sketch was done, and then I continued to the lineart.

The face and torso were pretty straightforward, the legs as well.... but.. oh boy I think I drew that hair five times, just failed at the feet for wayyy too long and forgot to draw the hands for... actually quite a bit. >w<"

So yeah... lots of chaos along the way, but in my opinion a pretty solid result!

Sadly I wasn't able to incorporate all of Yasses clothing features... like the very oversized shirt, the bandages around the feet, lower arms and legs and.. wait I think that was everything....

Either way, I left some stuff away, since it made the thing less readable and in some cases just looked wrong (still can't draw feet T-T)

Colours... dang the colours were fun.
He has such an amazing design... like... ARGH....

And ngl, I cannot remember the last time I shaded green skin, and the tattoos were crazy fun to work on, sooooo.... double fun for those areas!

Things then got a bit more complicated, when we went on to the shading...
Since I wanted this piece to match to a small character series I'm working on, I had to get the lighting identical to the other pieces.... and sadly the direction was rather unflattering, since it drew the attention of the tattoos away, and the very warm lighting made the differences between trousers and skin rather difficult to read, especially in the shaded areas.

Nonetheless I am really happy with this one!

Have been working on a lot more full-body drawing recently, with some more dynamic poses, lighting and movement, so... yeah... rarely anything is finished, but a lot is almost finished, meaning I presume an update storm will come sometime soon >w<"

Anyways! Was another shorter chapter... sorry for that... but either way, hope you enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the process (especially you, Mith x3) and definetely take care of yourselves!
