Suilad! Suilad for the first time in this artbook, my dudes!

Another year, another artbook, eh?
So... welcome to this new mess, I guess! (Wowie! That even rhymed :D)

Before we get into neat little details and the rules of your presence here (oh yeah baby, I've got some rules for ya) I just wanted to assure to you, that everything uploaded in here is my own work and if I should depict somebody elses character or whatever, I will indeed make sure that you know that right from the beginning of the chapter.

Now that we have mentioned chapters, there are several chapter categories I'd like to explain. This is a system that I started in my artbook "Leaves" and have grown very fond of, so I will presumably continue this stuff all down the way:

OC - .... yeah... a chapter containing the design of a character of mine

CONTEST - entries for a drawing contest, hosted on watty 99.99999% of the time

WIP - usually in combination with another chapter category, is the short form of "work in progress"

NSFW - again in combo with something else... I like drawing gore sometimes so I'll just make sure people that don't like that stuff can stay away from it as soon as it gets too extreme

COLLAB - a picture created in collaboration with other artists

e.g. INKTOBER - if I should attempt to fail successfully at a monthy drawing challenge, the challenge name will be at the beginning

REDRAW - I... redrew an old picture of mine...

REQUEST - A drawing I made as a request for someone

(COMMISSION - eventually a drawing made for a commission... probably won't happen anytime soon, but I wanted to include it in this list anyways)

CLOTHING - clothing designs... mostly for OCs

ADOPT - an adoptable design... the title also includes whether the adopt is taken or not

MESORIA MINIES - minicomics in my fantasy world Mesoria

INTERIORS - I draw a room or building from the inside! These are often in greyscale and more sketchy, since I don't have that much experience in them...

ENVIRONMENTS - I actually managed to force myself to draw an environment. Wow. Anyways, usually these depict a drawing of a mesorian landscape

SKETCHBOOK - ... pictures of things I made in my sketchbook. Usually in a collective chapter at the end of the month, if I actually drew enought to share it >w<

PICTURE DUMP - usually I am lazy with posting. In my normal chapters I will upload a drawing with WIPs and commentary but in picture dumps I will just throw all the pictures in a chapter, saying maybe a sentence to a few. This allows me to show you my works without needing to be pressured with writing a massive chapter, if the drawing is already 7 months old.

Most of the categories are indeed self explanatory, but I just wanted to make sure. If I should create a new category it will be added to the list ^-^

Otherwise the chapters will be sortet into months and ordered in chronological order, since that worked for the last two Artbooks.
Since the divider-chapters are usually so empty, I'll bung the respective poem from Helen Jacksons "A Calendar of Sonnets" in there, since I like poetry :D

Other information and rules are next up on the list I guess...
Well... the usual stuff first:

- Don't steal my art. Whilst I would indeed feel honoured, I'd also feel extremely insulted and would probably cry, because I am a fragile human being... pls don't make me cry guys... I don't need that in my busy life...

- Just be nice, okay? I mean... we are all gonna be friendly people here and you don't need to be the fucking dick that ruins everything

- I like to swear (and do it frequently), so you can swear too... I may have a slight issue here... all the "don't fucking swear", "don't swear you shitty piss-baby" and "don't be a swearing fuckstick" sticky-notes that decorate my notebooks and walls did less of a good job than I hoped they would...

- ... um... man I had a list of things I wanted to put here somewhere
- dang... I think I lost the list...
- I wanted to start this new artbook actually having a clue what I'm doing...
- THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO RUN BETTER THAN 2019 AND 2020 DID!!
- oh yeah... I found the list guys!!

- so if you find parts of my art inspiring, such as backgrounds, clothing designs, signatures (especially signatures... had to change them so often because people stole the design and I wanted mine to stay unique, whilst also being to scared to confront the other person because of it), etc.
um... well, if you copy them 1:1 that's still stealing, you know? And if you take those designs and change em up, okay... but if my original idea is still recognizeable, just give me fucking credit, okay?? I finally got to a point where I'm actually proud of what I produce, so let me just overreact and be overprotective over my ideas until I relax a bit, okay?

Especially not when you haven't asked, because that's just downright rude. I don't care how well we got along beforehand, but I will be HELLA PISSED (and probably not very nice to you) if you just take my stuff without asking me at least.

- If, for some really odd reason, you want to draw one of my OCs, go ahead! But please say, that they are my children and tagg me, so I can see the picture too...

- Oh... I forgot a point of the "stealing" part... don't steal my ideas... or my world... because I've been working on that shit since I was like... 8.
(I am very well aware that I am overreacting, but since more people seem to be finding and seeing my art, I just want to be extra sure, because I don't know how to deal with that yet and it did happen a few times already, okay? Okay.)

- And remember that I'm only 17 and have nothing else other than my art to show for myself... that might be important too...

- Eventhough I'm going to have this all in English, I live in Germany. So you can indeed write comments n stuff in German or if you're from my old artbook (that was in German until october) you can ask for translations and all that, if you should have language issues.

- Since I think and mainly write in English but talk more in German, I may Denglish some grammar and spelling... so be nice to me... having grown up bilingually was great but it really fucked up my writing.

... essentially that long list of stuff can be boiled down to:
Don't steal stuff, be nice, you can fucking swear, give me credit for things that belong to me, I may confuse English and German at times and I forget and loose a lot of stuff.
(... I literally could've just written that... that would've saved me so much time... >>cries in frustration<<)
