"Jisoo?" A woman in her thirties with black curly locks with perfect skin tone appears on her classroom. "Why are you still here?"

"I was working on some papers." She answers in her perfect English.

"But I thought you already went home the other day so you could celebrate the new year with your family in Korea!"

"Plans changed, I didn't feel like going home tonight."

"Why? You said the same reason last year, and 2 years ago too."

The latter shrugs and went back to checking her students' work. "I don't feel going home."

"Jisoo."

"Anna." She says in the same manner as the latter did before chuckling. "It's fine, my family are going out for a vacation too, it was my fault- I didn't inform them beforehand that I would be going home."

The younger woman eyes the latter before letting out a sigh. "Well at least you can spend the new year with us again right?"

Jisoo then remembers how she was happy to spend a new year with a friend in a foreign country however her husband's judgemental looks after finding out that she was from the rainbow land wasn't too welcoming and she didn't want to remember or even try to be in that same position again but she also didn't want to be rude to her first friend so she gives her a smile and tells a subtle promise that she will try to show up.

Anna smiles and tells her that she'll be seeing her tonight but after double checking everything, Jisoo drops by the market to cook a simple dinner for her and the love of her life.

"Dalgom! Mommy's home!" A furball runs towards Jisoo making her drop her grocery bag. "How are you boy?" She chuckles as the dog continues to move its tail. "Okay, okay. I'll cook us some dinner okay? I'll make a very delicious one since it's going to be just you and me welcoming the new year together!"

_____________

"Here you go buddy, enjoy."

Jisoo places her plate right in front of her working desk which was also her dining table right next to room where the twin size foam that was lazily layed on the center, a small cabinet which fitted her clothes for all seasons (surprisingly), an accent table with a short pile of books.

She opens her windows and listens to the lively music down below the plaza, a nearby public place of her apartment where people laughing and conversing became her background. Just as when she was about to test her cooking skills- her laptop lights up, a notification telling her that her brother wants to see her via video call.

"YAH." She lets out a sigh as soon as she sees his annoyed face.

"What?"

"You know what's up! You told us you were planning to go home!"

"I know but stuffs happen, what do you expect me to do? I can't just leave here right away."

"You keep on saying the same excuses every year. How much long are we going to wait."

"Hey hold up, I went home okay?"

"It was one time and that was three years ago! Come on! What's holding you back?"

"Is that Jisoo?" Oh boy. Jisoo could only say in her mind as she sees her parents coming through the screen. "KIM JISOO! You little sly kid!"

"Hey parents." She waves at them. "Dalgom, say hi to your grandma and grandpa come on."

"Don't change this topic about your son Jisoo, you can't escape this time."

"Mom..."

"She's right Jisoo, you know how long we've been expecting this day to come. Why didn't you tell us you weren't coming home?"

"My boss hated the work I wanted to publish so I had to redo it."

"Why do you need to go all the way there? Why can't you just work here?"

"Guys-" She sighs as she holds the bridge of her nose. "We talked about this, I am not working there. Never again."

The annual family video call turns into an awkward and dreadful silence, one that everyone hates. Silence environment was never their thing, they were loud, lively and annoying but never the silent type. Jisoo suddenly feels slightly guilty for using that tone to her parents who were clearly just looking out for her.

"Look, guys I'm sorry. I didn't mean to- I'm just stressed about work."

"It's alright Soo, we understand. We're sorry too."

"Can we just pretend none of this happened? I really want to know what were you guys up to the past month. Tell me all about it- no details left behind." She smiles, hoping that it would lighten up the mood.

And it did, much to Jisoo's relief. She laughed and chuckled along with every story shared by her family members and even her nephew now who was able to talk and was equally as loud as them. After a good talk, Jisoo says farewell to them before she starts enjoying her dinner with the feeling that she finally made up to her family.

Right after doing the dishes, she relaxes on the couch where Dalgom gladly joins her. She smiles looking at a far distance as she continues to pet her son. Her phone was now making a buzzing sound, breaking her trance so she extends her lazy body towards the coffee table where she grins as soon as she sees the contact name.

"JISOO UNNIE!"

"UNNIE ANNYEONG!"

Jisoo chuckles as she waves enthusiastically at the two. "Chaeng! Lisa!"

"Well it just turned New Year here and we want to greet you a very happy new year unnie!" Chaeyoung enthusiastically says. "Can you greet the rest of your family for us?"

"Dalgom-ah, aunt Chaeyoung and your best frenemy in the world Lisa wishes you a happy birthday!"

"Huh? Dalgom?" Lisa furrows her eyebrows. "You didn't go home this year too?"

"Work held me up seriously."

"You said that last year though."

"You sound just like my mom."

"Hey! I'm already old but not that kind of old!" She pouts making the other two chuckle.

"Why are you in Australia right away?"

"Mom and Dad wanted to see Chaeyoung and check up on her before we fly out to Switzerland for the New Year holiday."

"And you know what's the best part? I get to come with them! Whoohoo!" Chaeyoung beams. "I have a week tops break before going back to work and my family already approved."

"It's nice to you guys still bond."

"Yeah this would've been us too but you're so busy with work and Jennie-ow!" The youngest of the group winces. "Chaeng that hurts!"

Chaeyoung coughs and Jisoo just had to laugh at the girl's attempt to be subtle. "So tell me all about your holiday there Lis."

The talk went on for about an hour until Chaeyoung's constant yawns were slowly becoming unnoticeable so she bids the latter farewell. She turns to her pet who's now soundly asleep with no possible chances of waking up soon. She looks at the clock that was hung up on the wall telling her that it was just a few minutes before another year will start.

Suddenly, hearing what Lisa said earlier made her remember the very last time she saw her. She remembered those black curls, the feline-featured face with the chubby bunny cheeks. That faded white shirt matched with the jeans and those sneakers that she will never wear them properly.

Jisoo sits infront of her laptop, tuning into her website before typing the words-

It's almost page 365, yet I feel like I'm being brought back to page 316- back to the last time I saw you.

_____________

"Ugh, fuck-my-life!"

The door slams open, bringing Dalgom to his wake. He immediately hears some groaning sounds which makes him dash towards the entrance only to find his hooman laying down on the wooden floor. He starts to bark non-stop as Jisoo struggle to meet him in the eye.

"Last time I checked, I'm the parent in this relationship." She says groggily, now fully standing up. "Dalgom, remind me never-never ever accept our landlord's invitation for a simple meal okay? It's an invitation from Satan."

Still struggling to regain her consciousness, she somehow manages to sit on her working desk where she types in the password and sees the amount of emails coming from all sorts of publishing houses and from different kinds of people. Jisoo sighs to herself.

"Page 1 of 365 and it's already testing my patience huh." She shakes her head before turning her attention to her sns account which also blasted with notifications.

She smiles seeing the amount of recognition that her book had received. Jisoo never really thought posting an online book would get this big, after all these were just collections of excerpts from the letters that she has written over the years since her idol life has come to an end.

She still remembers everything vividly, how everyone tried to make it work but Lisa was no longer happy because everyone was pressuring her to date against her own will, Chaeyoung obviously deserves better treatment and she was no longer happy.

Jisoo no longer feels the same kind of happiness whenever she performs on stage. No, she wasn't fading away but she was no longer the same Kim Jisoo too, not even after she patched things up with Jennie.

Jennie. How was Jennie?

She knew about Chaeyoung signing with a different entertainment company in Australia and finally got the amount of attention she deserves in the first place. Lisa going back to Thailand too where she was booked and was no longer labeled as jobless. She kept in touch with the rest of the members, the rest but Jennie Kim.

Why?

Because she disappeared. She was gone like the wind because right after the farewell party, Jisoo packed up her bags and went on an adventure of a lifetime.

She started with New York, where she fell in love with the bright lights and the city that never sleeps. She even thought of staying there but as she was browsing through books she feel in love with the nature in South America which she stays for a week before going back to explore Asia where she returned to Seoul, just to renew her passport so that she could fly again.

For she was done trapping herself in a country where she could never be free.

Which is why she feel in love with Estepora. It was quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. She liked the beach, the locals, the place that she's currently living. Everything in hers life is okay- simplier. And she hopes to stay that way.

Pushing the thoughts aside she turns into her number one companion. "Want to go the beach buddy?"

_____________

"Aunt Jisoo hello! Dalgom!"

"Maria how are you?"

"Can Dalgom join us today?"

"Of course, I'm sure he misses hanging out with you."

Jisoo smiles as the kid runs off towards her family while she settles herself in the table with an umbrella. She checks Dalgom from afar away with Maria and her family. She pulls out her laptop and types in her password, and try to look at the view- hoping that she'd be able to type something for her new book.

But two hours later, Jisoo finds herself groaning in annoyance. There is no single drop of imagination inside her mind nor a pinch of determination to start this book. She slumps back to her seat slowly getting frustrated with not having any inch of thought to type. Her phone suddenly rings, Jisoo fishes out her phone without looking up on the caller id.

"Oy, oy, oy."

She sighs. "Hey Soojoo."

"What's wrong? No, wait- don't tell me, aha! You've got a writer's cock."

Somehow, that manages to lighten up the mood. "I believe it's writer's block Soo."

"Right, writer's block whatever. So, is there anything I could do to help."

"I'm working on my new book."

"Ah... Solaris is on the move eh?" She teases. "Anyway what are you planning to do?"

"That I'm not really sure of." Jisoo sighs. "But I'm trying- why is it so loud in there?"

"I'm at Jeju, enjoying the beach because some asshole a.k.a. Kim Jisoo did not go home for the New Year."

"Well I could say the same thing since you decided to ditch me for Christmas."

"I told you I went on an important date."

"Are you trying to make me jealous?"

"Ha- as if you can get jealous with the men or women I've worked with."

Jisoo smiles as she remembers what happened between the two of them. It was shortly after the closure she had with Jennie and Soojoo was the first one to comfort her. One thing lead to another Soojoo let herself somehow fall for Jisoo and the latter felt the same thing. The dating game were cheered on by their circle of friends but it only lasted for a year before they mutually ended things on a good note and picked up where they left off- being best friends.

"True enough, but it's because I'm all out giving my trust babe."

Soojoo cringes from the other line. "You know there was one time where you made my heart flutter by calling me that."

"Really?"

"We were at the beach too, just chilling out with friends..." Jisoo looks at the beach and somehow a familiar memory hits her.

"Chu, I think they're all asleep."

"The coast is clear?"

"The coast is clear."

Two feminine figures on their coats were slowly tip-toeing from the hallway slowly talking with non-verbal communication. As soon as they exited the place, they hopped on a taxi and started giggling non-stop. Jisoo manages to tell the driver where the location is which earns a weird look at the driver.

They were dropped off at the beach, bravely taking their coats off and shivering through the post-winter breeze the island gives. "Come on Chu let's go!"

"Are you crazy? I'm going to go for night swimming but for skinny dipping? Really Jen?"

"Oh come on, it's almost midnight, there's nobody around and I've seen that a million of times!" She reasons. "Let's go!" Jisoo looks at the naked Jennie having the time of her life despite the shivering. "Chu come on!"

"Why am I with this woman?" Jisoo sighs before stripping off her clothing before making a run towards the water. "FUCK IT'S COLD!" Jennie giggles and even splashes water on Jisoo's freezing face. "Jendeuk!"

She giggles more before wrapping her arms around her neck. "Here, let me warm you up a little."

Jisoo kisses back the moment Jennie's lips touched hers pulling away just to admire the latter's beauty. "You're beautiful you know that?"

"With you constantly telling me?Yeah I think I know." She smiles and looks at her. "Chu? What are we?"

"What do you want us to be?"

"I don't know too, sometimes I want us to be just friends and there are times where I want us to be more." She tells honestly. "I know the boundaries, but I don't know how thin the boundaries are. Tell me, am I crossing the line if I told you I'm getting jealous with you and Lisa?"

"What? Me and Lisa?" She snorts and then chuckles. "We both know where Lisa belongs, she just likes to be clingy and sweet around me."

"You're explaining your side whenever I get jealous. Does that mean you're crossing the line too?"

"Jen, you're being logical again. I told you, we don't have to figure things out right now. I enjoy being with you and you feel the same. Why do we need to complicate things?"

Jisoo looks at her in the eyes, knowing that there were a million questions behind it. "You're right, I don't need to complicate things. This is us."

"Whatever we have right now? Is somewhere only we know." Jennie connects her eyebrows in confusion. "Just like what you said, this is us and everything that is about us is somewhere only we know. No one will ever understand, just Chu and Jendeuk."

"Somewhere only we know." She smiles genuinely. "I like the sound of that."

Jisoo kisses her briefly before looking back at her. "Me too Jen, me too."

"...And yeah my heart went miles when you said that, I think it's pretty cute."

"Soo, you're a genius." Jisoo grins widely. "Look, I'm going to call you back okay? I love you."

"Oh, wow. No one really called me a genius before thanks Jis, love you too. I'll keep in touch."

Soojoo ends the call and immediately Jisoo lights her laptop up before creating a cute cover photo before typing in the title. After some small changes and checking the final details, she adds the photo on her website with the words-

"Between being just friends and lovers is a space- somewhere only we know."

The colors of the sky were a mixture of orange and purple hues when Jisoo decides to call it a day. She smiles after seeing a rough draft of her plot and even the chapter flow was good. She grabs Dalgom and together they walked back to their home which was a few streets away.

Lost in her thoughts on how to weave these ideas and imaginations for her story, she was unable to notice that Dalgom was slowly getting cautious of her surroundings. He keeps wagging his tail in an exciting manner before turning his head from time to time. When he immediately runs off, Jisoo was brought back to reality- shouting after her dog as she tries to chase after him.

"Holy crap why did that old geezer have to be this fast." She scolds herself as she tries to catch up. "DALGOM COME BACK!"

He turns into the corner and notices him sniffing off someone who's back was facing her. She holds onto her knees, breathing heavily catching up with her breath.

"YAH KIM DALGOM HOW COULD YOU-"

Jisoo felt all the air that she had in her system has been knocked off. Her mouth remains open, eyes wide, and brain fully shutting down. A thousand memories suddenly hits her, after seeing the woman standing in front of her having the same expression as hers.

And when I finally find you in the next life, I'll love you for the times I wasn't able to right now.

"Jisoo? Is that you?" The latter squints her eyes and dashes towards her. "Jisoo! It is you, hi!"

"Hi..." Jisoo mananges to mumble. "Hi Jen."

"Hey what are you doing here?" Jennie asks as Dalgom keeps on biting her toe nails. "Aigoo, of course I haven't forgotten about you king Dalgom!" The heart-shaped lips girl look at the interaction between them. "Jis?"

"Huh?"

"I asked you what were you doing here?"

"Oh." She blinks in embarrassment before looking away. "Well I-"

"You know what, let's talk about it over dinner." Jennie offers. "I was just about to have one at this restaurant and-"

"Don't go inside there." Jisoo halts her, earning a confused look from the other woman. "Let me take you to this restaurant I know. They serve really great food."

"Are you sure? Because your food recommendations usually leads to one of us having an indigestion problem."

That somehow makes her smile before shaking her head. "Trust me on this one. Come on."

_____________

"Oh my God. I didn't want to believe you at first but wow-" Jennie closes her eyes. "This is so good."

"Glad you like it."

"I'm sure you do, you just earned a commission from your friend."

"Hector likes it whenever someone praises his cooking." Jisoo says. "So... What- what brings you here?"

"I'm on a short vacation just before the term starts." Jennie looks at her in the eyes. "Well, after BlackPink, I kinda went back to my old dream on becoming a lawyer so I packed my bags and went back to New Zealand to pursue law."

"Wow, that sounds nice. Must be pretty amazing."

"But the question is, what are you doing here?"

"I live here."

Jennie's eyeballs went wide so Jisoo went on explaining how she first decided that she would use some of the money she saved on travelling the world before falling in love with the city then Jennie shared about listening to her parents' advice to get a degree despite her age which she gladly did and although it was tiring, she would never trade it for the world.

One topic lead to another and Jisoo couldn't help but feel being brought back to the times where Jennie would have a solo schedule abroad or anywhere else and when she returns, they would have a dinner and talked about anything until the sun would slowly appear from the windows. She remembers the time where they'd dash out of restaurants whenever they felt that they were being watched or that they had to rush back to the dorm for another schedule.

"Ladies?" A man in his golden age interrupts their talk. "While it is lovely to see you two finally getting along, I believe that it's time for my restaurant to close."

"Boo." Jisoo teases with her tongue out. "You're getting grumpier every time I visit here."

"Young lady, I've already extended enough time for you two. Now chop, chop- I need to rest so I could catch mighty and strong fish for my restaurant tomorrow!"

Jennie giggles as she witness another short series of banter between the two. "Well Mr. Romero thank you for allowing us to extend our stay. I loved the food, and the place is truly a gem. Sorry we had been keeping you for long, Jisoo is a friend of mine that I haven't seen for quite long."

"You guys were talking about non-sense topics already just so you guys could keep the conversation going. No friend would do that." The man chuckles and shakes his head.

"Okay Hector, enough sleep talking we'll head home now." He kisses the man good bye before walking out of the restaurant. "Sorry, he's usually that when he has a drink or two."

"Is he one of your good friends?"

"Yeah. He's an old man with no child to take care after all of his family lived away from him so I was an immediate adopted daughter, no complains though, he makes the best food." Jisoo looks at the clock and noticed that she too, needs to head home. "Where do you stay?"

"Libby's hotel."

"It's not far from here, I'll walk you home."

"But-"

"Come on Jen." She looks at her with a smile. "I'll walk you home."

Jennie no longer protests and just agrees. While on their walk home, the Korean-local would sometimes point out interesting stories from the statues, landmarks and buildings they passed by without her forgetting the fact that Jennie was wearing heels which is why she slowly walks, just to match her pace. Soon enough, they finally reached the hotel where Jennie was staying and now right at the lobby, they stood in front of one another.

"Well, this is me." Jennie says making the latter nod. "It was nice seeing you Jisoo, it's still pretty much a surprise to me, but I'm glad we met tonight."

"How long are you in town?"

"Just for three days." She answers. "Why?"

"I can show you around tomorrow." Jisoo offers out of the blue, surprising Jennie. "Well I already know my way around here so I can really help you relax."

"Don't you have anything to do tomorrow?"

Besides a Spanish class and a paper due on Monday? "Gladly, I don't have." She says. "I do have to pay you back for treating me to dinner."

"Well, I'm not gonna say no to that." Jennie smiles, showing off her gums which makes her an adorable sight. "Sure I'll see you tomorrow."

The next day, Jennie and Jisoo met early in the morning where Jennie finds herself getting on a small boat sailing for an hour, arriving on another smaller town with such an amazing sight. Jisoo lets her enjoy the culture of the town, knowing how much of a sucker the latter is when it comes to art and even on the beach where Jisoo joins her into taking a dip before having a short horse race by the beach.

Jisoo was having fun seeing Jennie's smile and hearing her laughter from time to time. She felt like she has done a good job knowing that Jennie was having the time of her life. The countless thank you's says so. But just as when things thought that she was doing well as a job well done, the worst thing happens.

"Jisoo?" Both of them turned their heads to the source of the voice. "It is you!"

It was Lia, a lovely woman but a woman that Jisoo would prefer not to meet today. The Spanish native jumps at Jisoo hugging her tight, making Jennie confused at the entire situation. Jisoo chuckles nervously and explains to Jennie that Lia is one of her friends on the island, but fate clearly has other plans especially when Lia mentions 'one time thing', 'special night', 'friends' in one sentence.

Right after saying farewell, the atmosphere between them was awkward because of the silence. Jisoo noticed that Jennie's aura has changed especially when she requested to go back to the main land. Immediately. She wanted to argue that they have the best foods here and the fireworks was a sight to die for but Jennie gives her the look and Jisoo understood what it perfectly meant.

Which actually confused her. Jennie would only give her that look whenever she was angry, frustrated or jealous. She wasn't sure why the latter was angry or frustrated but Jisoo assures herself that Jennie Kim wasn't jealous. Why would she be? Was it because of Lia? Was it because something she said?

Even when they arrived safely on the docks, Jennie was still giving her the cold treatment making Jisoo desperate for any kind of sound to come out from the latter. While she was done giving thanks to one of her local friends, she runs out of the docks where she saw the dumpling-cheeks girl slowly rubbing off her shoulders. An light bulb suddenly lights right above her head and smiles as she pulls out a jacket and wraps it around the latter.

"You don't-"

"It's fine, I forgot to tell you that Estepora is usually cold whatever the season." She smiles and looking around the area not even noticing the blush on Jennie's cheek. "So where do you want to have dinner?"

"Jisoo?" Jennie and Jisoo looks at one another. "Can I have dinner at your place?"

_____________

Jisoo thought about having dinner by the beach, one that was similar to Hector's or somewhere where Jennie would be able to have the view of the entire town but she would've never thought about inviting Jennie into her place. Even though she wants to argue and offer someplace else, she knows that Jennie would probably just push her luck and give the puppy dog eyes, knowing that Jisoo would fall for it everytime and she would use that to her advantage.

So she lets Jennie inside her small one-bedroom apartment and welcomes her guest in as she struggles to try to clean the entire place which was a mess. Jennie settles herself on the couch, and after being offered by her ex-member an orange juice, Jisoo zooms off to the kitchen checking on what she has in stock.

Unfortunately for her all she had was expired milk and canned goods. Jisoo runs back to the living room to tell Jennie that she was off to buy a few things but notices that the latter has already passed out on the couch. She smiles at the scene, glad to know that some things have never changed when it comes to the sleeping girl.

Dropping her bag on the couch, Jisoo tries to be discrete and successfully carries Jennie towards her bedroom. She fully knows the fact that Jennie isn't used to sleeping in such tight places which is why she lays her down on her bed, with selfish thoughts and hopes that the latter will spread her scent all of her bed. Giving Jennie one last look, she grabs her bag and prays that she won't wake up sooner.

But just like as always, Jisoo doesn't get what she always wants because by the time she got home from a little grocery shopping, Jennie was already preparing to get out of the house.

"Jennie? " She calls out. "What are you doing?"

"I'm leaving."

"But why? I thought you were going to have dinner here?"

"I changed my mind, it was a mistake coming here." She brushes past the latter but Jisoo was quick to halt her midway.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Why don't you check your voicemail?"

Jisoo presses the button on the machine and waits for a beep. "Babe! It's Soojoo, I just called to say that I'll be able to visit you for Valentines! Am I romantic or-"

"It's not what it looks like."

"Oh yeah? Then what does it look like? Because to me, it sounds like you were pretty much in a relationship with that woman!"

"Soojoo was just playing around. Jen, why are you being like this? Is there something you want to tell me? You've been off since we met-"

"Don't mention that slut's name, don't also mention your bestfriend's name." She hisses. "Tell me Jisoo are you with Soojoo right now?"

"No! We used to date but it didn't last and we weren't serious-"

"BUT WHY? You told me you feel nothing for that woman so why did you date her?!"

"Hold up, why is this suddenly all about my relationships? Are you some kind of investigator?"

"Because you're my bestfriend and I care about you."

"Really Jen? You're really going to use that card against me? Fucking pathetic don't you think?" She was getting frustrated that Jennie got suddenly mad. "Am I not allowed to date anyone else?"

"You told me you love me. You told me I was the only one you love Jisoo!"

"Yeah but that doesn't mean I'm going to wait around until I die and then for the next life to come so that I'd find you." She argues. "I love you but my life doesn't revolve around you. I'm allowed to move on and love someone else Jen, don't be immature about this."

"Immature?" Jennie raises her voice. "You promised me you'd never date Soojoo! You told me countless times that she doesn't mean like that! She doesn't mean to you like I do!"

"And I meant what I said Jennie God!" She ruffles her hair out of annoyance. "We liked one another but it didn't work out, we figured we were better off as friends and we sometimes tease each other about it but that's it. I've had casual flings and one night stands but none of them has ever compared to what I feel towards you Jennie Kim." She looks at her with much seriousness. "Why am I even explaining things to you when clearly you're still locked up with that guy! You're even bound to get married!"

"What the hell are you talking about?!"

"I'm talking about the news about you and Kai are getting married! Chaeyoung told me so!"

"Dammit Jisoo are you really that fucking dense!?" The latter screams out of frustration. "Before you try and assume things, why don't you check if there's a ring on my finger." Jisoo searches for one elegant ring but none was found, making her look back at Jennie. "See? There's none. Why? Because I fucking told Chaeyoung to scare the crap out of you hoping you'd grow some balls and snatch me away!"

"The truth is, before ending my idol career my relationship with him was already shaky. I don't know if it was the fans, the papparazzi's, the haters but everything about us was falling apart. We were growing distant and instead of hurting one another, we ended things on a good note just a few days right after disbanding. Right after the break-up I went to seek some comfort for you but when I came to your house, your mom just told me you packed your bags and left without any note where would you be."

"Want to hear another truth? I almost choked Leo and Luca just so I could know where you were." Jennie confesses again. "That's right, I scared the lights out of the maknaes just so I could find out where you live and meeting you yesterday wasn't an accident because I'm done of making myself believe that I was done with our story. I'm done convincing myself for something so unbeliveable. Everyone knows it Jisoo, everyone knows that I will never get over you."

"But wait, there's more-" She grabs something from her bag, surprising Jisoo. "I know you are Solaris and I know that the letters were meant for me. So tell me Jisoo, when were you planning to send them?"

"I-I..." Jisoo was seriously loss for words.

"You told everyone who has read your book about how you really feel but you never told me about it."

"Because it's wrong Jen, I already broke my promise for not being able to stay by your side even though it would kill me. Letting you know how I still feel about you is totally unfair because I am hindering you from being truly happy. And I am not that kind of person."

"Then be with me." Jennie says, catching the heart-shaped lips girl by surprise once again. "Be with me right now, because that will truly make me happy."

"We both know it's not easy. You have a life in New Zealand, I have here in Spain and we cannot give up what we have right now just because we still feel the same."

"We also both want this to happen and I'd like to believe that if two people are wanting to make things work between them they'll figure something out."

"What about your family? How will you explain it to them? What about to my family? To our fans who keep adoring us to this day? To the public?"

"You know what Jis, you can say right now every fact why this relationship between us won't work but I can tell you one thing why this will work." She pulls out a paper from the letters and hands it to Jisoo.

And maybe, just maybe- the deities will have pity on us and allow us to meet in this lifetime again, when we're so old that we would forget the fact that we weren't meant to be together and figure something out. Because you are my home Jennie, you will always be the one I would want to come home to at the end of the day.

"This is the deities sympathizing with us Chu..." Jennie's soft voice made her sound so vulnerable and she knew that Jennie was close to releasing her tears. "I am tired of running away so I'm coming home to you. The question is- am I still your home Jisoo?"

Seonds flew by which eventually turned into minutes but Jisoo hasn't uttered any single word towards the feline-like female. Jennie closes her eyes, allowing for some tears to fall on her cheeks before nodding her head in silence. She places the letters back on the table before adjusting her bag and head out.

But just as she was about to reach for the doorknob, she feels a pair of hands circling around her waist, causing for more tears to fall from her eyes.

"I didn't send them to you not because I haven't had the courage to do so, but mostly because I had this idea in my head that I'd still get to read this to you personally. When we're old and barely moving, you would demand to read one letter per night as if it was your bedtime story before I tuck us both into bed." Jisoo says as she tightens her hug around the latter. "You, Jennie Kim will always be my home. And I'm coming home to you right now."

_____________

"Hello everyone, my name is Jisoo Kim but most of you know me as Solaris."

Jisoo smiles at the camera as she was currently on live video with thousands of readers viewing it. She then gives a quick jist of her life before she became into a writer and that involves her idol life and her current one also the main reason why she chose to expose herself now in the public eye.

"It's because I finally decided to come home." She smiles at the camera, and everyone could tell that it was a different kind of smile. "It's because I finally found my way back to my Solaris, to my sunshine, to my home and to the love of my life."

She smiles as the comments section flooded with questions being intruiged about who this person is and how all of them were dying to meet the one behind the genius works. Just as she was about to say it- someone appears from the screen surprising everyone especially this person has long and black locks. She settles herself on Jisoo's lap, tightly hugging the older one as she settles herself on the crook of Jisoo's neck.

"Why did you leave the bed? I thought no one leaves the bed until late afternoon."

"When did we had that kind of agreement?"

"Since we were fifteen duh." She retorts making Jisoo laugh. "It's a weekend Chu. We're suppose to cuddle in bed all day."

"I had to do a livestream for my viewers."

"Livestream?" She pulls away, turning her attention to the camera. "Oh."

Jisoo smiles seeing that Jennie was totally shy after finding out. "Why don't you go introduce yourself, I was about to do it anyway."

Jennie faces the camera bare face and sits on the chair right beside her. "Hello everyone, my name is Jennie Kim. I'm-"

"She's my home." Jisoo cuts her off making Jennie instantly blush and stick right back to Jisoo's arms.

Dalgom decides to join in the livestream and Jennie welcomes him with morning kisses. Jisoo and Jennie looks at the comment section, this time booming with happy comments and shocked chats. Their phones started to buzz with both Chaeyoung and Lisa's names appearing on their screens respectively.

"Where are you Jensoo?" Jisoo and Jennie looks at one another in the eyes, the look that the public eye, specifically the jensoonation know very well.

"Somewhere only we know." Jennie answers before kissing Jisoo right on the lips, one that she has been dying to do for years.
